I wouldn't be averse to giving the job to Johnson, seems to have done a great job with the u21s. The only problem in that is that Dunn would be involved, and he's proven himself to be clueless.
-
To say he's such an expert about knowing where to stand and what to do with the ball etc. etc., he doesn't set the team up well to do it, does he? Fraud.
-
Would anyone else give Stokes a do? How can he be any worse than the rest of them?
-
0-0 at half time. Tomlinson is playing, should take him off now so he's fine for Friday.
-
Looks like he was injured in the warm up.
-
Think he has got man of the match in the last 2 games so I would imagine so.
-
No I don't think so. Your initial comment was excessive, sarcastically asking where I'd been for 7 years. I'm not sure what you're talking about, how did I sound outraged?
-
People on here think they're in on it, remember that part ownership @#/?? I think they are just incredibly stupid. Not sure where you've got 'outraged' from, I'm certainly not outraged. You aren't bright enough to have such a big mouth.

Sounds to me like Venky's have been well and truly shafted. Wasn't Shebby Venky's man? Why has he handing out huge contracts to complete nobodies?
-
Evans is one of those players that people think is better than he actually is when he's injured. Can count the games he's played well in on one hand, I don't think we'll miss him when he goes.
-
Hahaha, what a joke he is. I wouldn't mind if he doesn't play for us again.
-
What kind of midfielder is Tomlinson Parson? An energetic tough tackler or more of a playmaker type? I.e. would he come in for Lowe or Guthrie if he was starting?
-
Not taking a payoff is the point...
-
In no way was he a dreadful appointment though, he's got a decent record in management and is a good bloke. I was embarrassed when I came on here shortly after it was announced because people were clearly reacting without doing their research on him. 3 good/bad results doesn't change that.
-
Thanks Parson. If we go down one positive may be that these lads will get more of a chance.
-
Hopefully Parson will give a report soon.
-
U23s beating Cardiff 2-0 tonight with Rankin Costello getting both of them. Think they needed a draw for the playoffs? Hoban & Ward are the centre back pairing.
-
So ironic that you had to edit your post due to a 'typo'.
-
Not quite sure what your obsession is with 'seasoned posters', just 'posters' would have sufficed. You aren't in some kind of elite, untouchable club because you've been posting on here for a while.

Exactly, Hughes earned the right to be trusted, Coyle didn't.
-
Of course, but we can't really blame Senior for Coyle, apart from not sacking him sooner I suppose.
-
Exactly, it is rare in today's game that a manager has full control of who comes in at any club. I think the DoF model kind of makes sense here to provide some stability and continuity even when the manager leaves. We need a philosophy that will carry on no matter who the coach/manager is. Hopefully the plan is to buy young lads with the view to selling them on for profit, rather than a manager signing players with no resale value for the here and now, that would make sense. Is Senior the man to do it though? I doubt it. Are Venky's capable of doing it? I doubt that even more.
-
Did you see Coyle's potential signings though? Giles Barnes, Abdoul Ba etc. I'm not surprised they didn't want to sign them, especially as Coyle's job was clearly under threat anyway.
-
Don't get me wrong, Bowyer was awful as well but Lambert wasn't much better (if at all).
-
This time last year we were on a run of 1 win in 11. This season we've done the double over Newcastle, one-off results mean next to nothing. Oh and saying 'we almost beat Burnley' as if that's a good thing is downright ridiculous.
