I’ve seen him a few times for Palace and don’t even think he’s playing his absolute best football. He’s playing as 1 of 2 which isn’t hid position and some of his teammates wouldn’t look out of place in the Championship. I’m still surprised that a bigger club than Palace didn’t come in for him, though I’m sure it won’t be long until they do now, he’ll shine even more playing with better players in a system that suits him.

Barely seen it mentioned but the fact that he got sent off for fighting a player for the ball in a league that operates a multi ball system about sums him up, thick as mince.

No he’s garbage. Can’t run, registered 1 assist all season which came from a corner, is regularly at fault for goals conceded due to his inability to stop a cross. He’s playing at least one level above his ability (not alone in this respect), get rid.

Fact that of all the players signed in the last 3 windows, Tronstad is the only starter when everyone is fit is absolutely criminal and a sackable offence by Broughton on its own. I’m certain that there won’t be another club in the country whose recruitment has been worse over the period.

Wrong price, wrong timing. Sold him for peanuts, didn’t replace him and could go down off the back of it. Everything about the sale stinks from a Rovers perspective.

I think he seems to have gained an extra yard of pace from when he first got in the team, possibly because he was recovering from a nasty hamstring injury

Tronstad has barely got a mention on here, he’s excellent.

We replaced him with Pickering who is worse, that’s the issue.

I think I’d play Pickering in a midfield three with Buckley and Ayari, Villa lad left of 4 at the back.

You do realise Pickering played on Saturday? Wing backs are probably the most important players in this system and Pickering just doesn’t have the ability to get up and down the pitch, it should have been Chrisene.

Thought we played alright today really, the 2 conceded were from stupid individual mistakes and had we been better in the final third we‘d have got 3 or 4 ourselves. Anyone blaming Eustace for it is wide of the mark.

Pickering is shite as a full back and would be worse as a wing back. The only position he could play in our system as it is now is left of the 3 but he would be behind Hyam (Crewe lad on the right) and Scott there for me.

By all accounts the Fleck deal was done after McGuire, were they processing this whilst scoffing their curry? When they were processing it no one realised McGuire hadn’t actually been sent? Sounds like they’ve had a few days to come up with a story that blames only one person and I’m sure there will be announcement in the near future stating that this person has left their role, at which point they can say that the matter has been dealt with and we can go on as usual. Bullshit if you ask me.
