That might be what we need though, Paul Senior won't want to be at Rovers for long, he sees himself being a director of football at a big club, which could mean that he has an incentive to do a good job. He's all about his CV and turning us around will look great on his CV. That is different to what we've had before.

I can't think of many managers that are as well thought of at their previous clubs as Mowbray, that's a good sign. Decent appointment all things considered, better than Adkins/Sherwood imo.

Glad he's not been able to bring his own staff in, hate it when there's a group of failures following managers around from one job to the next.

Mowbray finished 8th in League 1 last season (above Adkins), Sheffield United are now top whilst Coventry are now bottom... not sure why this appointment is any worse than Adkins would have been? Underwhelmed but not the worst appointment they could have made.
