  1. I'd say Sheff Utd will be fishing in different waters now, Lenihan is nowhere near the level of the premier league (top half too potentially if they carry on). They will have access to a much better level of player now and I'd be shocked if they bought him.
  2. Strange cos Paul Mani on the other thread says we have money to spend and there's nothing to see here.....all is well apparently.
  3. Tyrese Campbell - £400k Ben Brereton - £7m I'd still get Campbell now hes available
  4. I was sat N01 and it was a good vocal section and Tony will have heard it. On more than one occasion Irrelevant that he shows commitment and effort, that's a basic minimum from any player of my team. I expect quality and goals created, headers won and a decent return of goals. At least Antonosson could play that role better
  5. You can't know this, Chaddy so stop stating it as fact..you and your pals might but that's not plenty. Agree, all I heard was the bburn end asking Mowbray why SG was on the wing. This is the early sign of dissent.
  6. I didn't say he was good. There are a lot of shit players who have been given a chance, so why not this one.? After all, he is ours
  7. You made my point for me, a team like Wigan is put to bed by a promotion chasing team. We just descend to their level.
  8. It never happens chaddy, stop defending the indefensible. We should have bossed wigan at home, dominated and gone into the play offs, that's what a promotion chasing team does. I'd say we are not chasing promotion, players or manager......happy to take our money and plod on taking their over inflated salaries. As long as your happy with that pal
  9. You just know before we start that theres absolutely no chance of us turning up, dominating a game a from start to finish and giving a team a right good battering, playing well, looking good. Its shit boring plodding on the whole. Mowbray out
  10. Never given a chance Samuel, I thought Tony liked him .
  11. I thought Holtby showed little signs here and there, I'd have left him on Why does he always quick to shoehorn Benno in, even though I'm not keen at all on Williams, I'd have brought Del on to make a 3 and then set a proper winger against their left back and had another body in the middle, downing.
  12. You are wrong. Mowbray will have heard the Blackburn end asking why Gallagher was on the wing.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if they scaled it back a bit, sold the land to get some of their money back. I'd see it as chucking good money after bad if I was an Indian Board Member/Bank of India Credit Controller..
  14. Why? Who's come out of it who was with us before turning 16
  15. I'm on about the academy U6-U16.....I don't class scholars as playing for the academy. Can you remember one player apart from Jones and Dunn who have played at the club prior to leaving school.....they all fo come from the big clubs now anyway, like Lewis Travis
  16. We should just go the Huddersfield route, scrap the academy and just get Utd/Liverpool/Citeh cast offs at 16/17.
  17. World Club Champions, European Champions, 10 points clear. ?
  18. They used to breed defenders there, proper ones. Nowadays they are just as bad as us (England)
  19. This is what winds me up about the Rovers backroom set up. Nyambe is a good wing back, he just needs to work on his final delivery and this is something that can be improved with repetition training. I noticed this about 3 seasons ago, so I'm unsure what the feck our coaches are doing on a day to day basis....most players are going backwards or just flat-lining. Bennett should be nowhere near the right back position and Ryan should have 200 appearances by now.
