He’s mentioned in the telegraph live feed to be fair. Mentions that Forest have been linked but doesn’t deny any potential rovers interests. His next comment is to deny a link to Kipre.

Interestingly Sharpe didn’t deny an interest in Maja

Would just like to say if we do sign Obafemi on a PERM then it really is a massive coup for us. 
 

The Khadra deal makes no sense to me considering we have chapman who will most likely loan out as a result.

With Edun set to be done I really believe all attention should turn to Obafemi

Why are we even looking at hedges? We’ve got plenty of midfielders, two currently who can play the advanced role in Buckley and Rothwell with our best player in Dack to come back and nail that spot. Doesn’t seem to make much sense to me.

Can’t help but think this signing is geared towards us playing wing backs this season. Maybe Pickering and Nymabe would be the fullback in a back 4 and edun and JRC the wing backs in a back 3?

Very good reviews on Twitter, with a considerable mention for his ability to central midfield. Happy to see a perm singing but an odd place to see it considering the Pickering fee.

Bags of potential. However hasn’t worked for the past couple of seasons and can’t us needing him when we’ve just brought in Poveda with Khadra also on the way.

Been mentioned on FB that a striker is flying over tomorrow. Doubt it considering it’s FB but on the off chance wondering if anyone has heard anything?

Whilst this has been an extremely frustrating window I do believe the 2 signings that we have actually been able to make have something about them. Clarkson impressed on his debut, showing a keen eye for the forward passes, though I did struggle to understand why he was played as far forward as he did considering he’s a deep lying midfielder. 
 

Poveda is one that excites me. Offers us pace and individualism and has always been the kind of player from what I’ve seen of him that gets fans off their seats. The jury is out though when it comes to his final product and his impact in a more physical championship. 
 

I think now focus has to be on a permanent signing or two. Striker of course has to be the priority, does anyone have info regarding names that we are looking at? I think at centre back we are really well covered with the emergence of Carter, he will make the odd mistake over the season but he is clearly ready for this level. With Wharton also to come back we have a real quality in that position. I wouldn’t mind a left back on loan, as Pickering needs back up, and I can imagine circino being able to step up as a back in a year or two, so a perm signing is not needed there.

Having said that TM has a mind of his own so we will have to see how things play out.

Watched a lot of leeds last year as my house mate was a diehard leeds fan, so saw Poveda quite a lot. He’s quality and looked very useful as an impact player in the prem last season. Would be a class signing.

Could the number 10 be the Brighton lad? He was meant to be able to play wide/number 10
