Ejaria on his day is an excellent player, and is certainly different to anyone we have. I was at the Fulham v Reading game when they won 2-1 and he got both: that was the best individual performance by a championship player that I had seen in years.
Has had a season interrupted by injury and certainly not been consistent however I very much get the feeling at a new club who are fighting for promotion he would step up and make a difference.
He doesn’t strike me as a Mowbray player though and I can’t necessarily see it happening with what I would imagine be an at least 5m price

Sign josh bowler from Blackpool. Was unreal against Fulham today

I really really hope that all these Rothwell rumours have just been generated from him not travelling with the squad. It could well just be injury.
Otherwise it would be impossible not to be incredibly let down by him - surely he has to realise what an opportunity this is for the club and the fans. He’s one of the main men and can go anywhere in the summer, all we ask is that he gives it all for 4 months and see where it takes us. If he has really asked to go to a promotion rival then that speaks for himself.
I do believe if he does go, or even if he’s just asked to go, then it really screws us up. We have no one in the squad who can do what he can do.

If we were to bring any attacker (that is a realistic target) in this window my first choice would be Dembele.
High resale value, match fit, knows the championship and would fit our style of play perfectly. Importantly would provide an alternative paced option other than Khadra.

Why?
Reports from France that a championship club are in advanced talks over a perm deal for him. If you put 2and2 together it’s looks likely to be us, could be wrong tho

Sounds like this striker signing could be Maja…

Anyone with an idea who this foreign lad were meant to be bringing is?

Well done Mogga
Disagree with this completely. We bought a top prem side top talents for a minimal fee. This injury doesn’t change the fact that it was still really good business from us.

Nyambe in for JRC and Markandy in for Diaz.
Cannot stress how big a game this is for us. Must win.

That team looks unbalanced to me. I would of gone with a straight swap of davenport for Travis.

Whoever suggested Louie Sibley, that’s a great shout. Great player, and only 20.
Looks like Millwall are trying hard for him. 4th bid of 450k rejected.
Same type of money as the O’Reilly, same age as Markandy. Ticks all box’s, and he is a box to box player, could play the Travis role. Should be all over that.I’m pretty sure Sibley is a more attacking flair player no?
May be wrong. But feel like there’s other positions which are a greater priority.

IF this is a perm then this is excellent business. Extremely highly rated, a player who can not only impact us now but be one we can rely on for the future. Would be a low fee aswell with him being 6months into his contract.
A lot of fans concerned about us not showing more ambition so far this window - but Zeefuik and Markandandy look really intelligent signings with the long term, aswell as the now, in mind. If we could make a push to bring in Riley aswell that would cap a excellent window, strengthening us in the areas with the least depth while fitting in with the long term planning.
Mind you nothing has happened yet.

Sharpe reckons ‘indications are we won’t be spending £2m in this window’ (talking about O’Riley). Guessing he means in total here as well.
Some ambition if true!
Apologies @roversfan99you had beaten me to it.Interesting that Sharpe didn’t shut down this rumour. Normally that’s some indication of interest. Been reported we could offer cash+player swap - potentially magloire or davenport? Or Carter on loan?
Hes certainly a player I think we should push to bring in. Especially with Rothwell going in the summer.
With Zeefuik and Riley losing Nymabe and Rothwell wouldn’t be so painful.

Blackburn trying to land MK Dons star Matt O’Riley in £1.7m transfer and could offer player-swap as part of deal

Just to throw it out for consideration: I've heard that Rovers are interested in signing Morgan Gibbs-White.
I know nothing about him other than he's a midfielder. Whether he's any good or not, I've no idea either.
Gibbs-White is one of the best in division. Would be an incredible signing.
Not sure I can see this happening though - he’s on loan at Sheffield United and most likely on quite big wages at wolves. It’s common knowledge that wolves need to sell before they can buy - which is the only way I could see this happening. Them cutting the loan short so we can take him on a perm. How reliable is your source?
It’s nice to see Rovers linked with some quality players, January rumours have normally been dire rumours for us in past few seasons. Seems like we are after a CM.

Nixon reckons we’re back in for Burke at Sheff Utd.
Hopefully it’s rubbish as it’s Nixon, but IF true, then I’d hoped we had much better lined up this time round!!!
Honestly Burke has the potential to be a very good championship striker if a team just game him some confidence. Strong, quick, good on the ball. His career may of fallen off a cliff last last few years - but he actually did a quite decent job in the prem last season.
Don’t write him off. Would be a decent signing if we can get him cheap - if it’s a loan then that’s poor.

Apparently Souttar to Blackburn is very close in terms of pre contract agreement. A small fee in January hasn’t been ruled out either.
Dont know much about that lad but abit of a coup in terms of other teams linked.

Personally I would rather a qpr win - I don’t expect them to be up there come end of the season

EFL have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances of Hull’s postponement.
Potential forfeit?

This saga will make or break our season. Ryan Giles has very good reviews from Cardiff fans - though I would prefer a perm move.
I would like us to make a push for Morgan Gibbs-White, I believe he was linked earlier in in the window. That would be a genuine upgrade.
