It’s not a bad run we are a great watch just can’t finish it. Worse Lady Luck has turned her face on us. Mathematically however if we win both we are in the play offs. I think I’m right and if so it’s still in our own hands. Hopefully luck has changed

I’ve been everywhere and we are getting better. We’ve run into a bad run of form but the method is there. I hated Mowbray because most of it was bullshit. We have something and a team to be proud of. No journey men most are just our own. Will it be enough tomorrow god only knows but I don’t think we’ll surrender

The answer is who wants it most. At turf they did. Tomorrow we must want it more. It’s not even a skill thing it’s a desire thing.

I can't imagine anything worse than watching the Dingles win the championship live at Ewood 😱
I don't think they'll settle for three either this time. 🥺
Settle for three. No chance we will stand up this time.We aren’t playing the greatest team in the world for godsake. It’s Burnley with a bunch of highly paid other teams reserves. It worked for them and total respect but come on let’s treat them with the respect they deserve and fuck em.
I’ve never known us be so defeated we’ve been playing well but it nor working. We are a total different team than at that shithole
fucking hell it’s just burnley

Hedges should have taken into the corner and that’s it. Shite really and amateur. That’s it cost us the points. Keep it brief

This end of season stuff is what you follow football for Its amazing we are still in the chase and its in our own hands with a team that you can feel proud of. I can’t wait for tomorrow let’s just get stuck in.

We lack a goal scorer everything else is adequate for the job. Not scoring is what creates the pressure and in the end the mistakes that go with it. Leonard and Wharton in Gallagher and Diaz out.I really like the look of Leonard’s movement and anticipation cometh the hour cometh the man get him on the pitch. Win the next two at all costs and it’s as good as sealed. Fortunately for us it’s cov and pne not Barca and real

We just can’t finish. Most of the rest in this league is ok. Hyam is having a real poor spell. The real problem starts up front Diaz and Gallagher need changing they can’t score and contribute very little.
Leonard may not be the answer but his movement and instinct leaves Gallagher in the shade.brereton is so poor in the tackle or his covering runs, I won’t even start on his foward play. The shot that went out for throw in sums it up.
Leonard in what’s the worst that can happen. I am sick on the protecting young players shit and he doesn’t want protecting.Only a few games to go and at least we are in with a shout usually mid table by now

Diaz has returned to who he was. One great season. He must be the dumbest footballer I know. Give away free kicks when we have the ball in great positions. Why did we not take 8 million for him.
The manager has done a great job with what he has. Let down in the transfer window by the amateurs that occupy our administration and still not sacked.
I suppose it’s been a better season than expected

If Gallagher is the Answer then I would like to know the question. He brings nothing to the game other than running around and being big. Can’t score( he’s a striker) doesn’t link up play( control terrible) doesn’t scare the opponents shitless with his physicality.
In 8 mins of Leonard he showed what a striker is about.- 5

Pears wasn’t glued to his line at all, he was on the edge of his box and retreated.
You obviously never saw the game.
Both goals for him where unstoppable the problem was far higher up the pitch. Lack of pace and hyam was having a nightmare of a game. We also lack pace and for the last two games go into tackles half arsed. Pears is the least of our problems. I agree completely no chance with both goals

I don’t want to labour a point but sometimes you need to repeat yourself to get people to understand
Sometimes when a system says you have the wait then just wait

As an exiled fan, I loved the chance to get to a packed Ewood yesterday, but being long in the tooth as I am, it was always destined to end in defeat.
From the first few minutes it was clear we were not at the races, second to every ball, Norwich looked like they had more players on the pitch than us. We were beaten in every area yesterday, I think the season has finally caught up with us, which is a shame as both players and supporters deserve better.
Shout out to the Norwich fans, they were brilliant, loudest fans at Ewood in many a year, superb.
Brought it on ourselves. Pressing is a team game but we played it as individuals and left acres of room in midfield that they ran into. We also have no legs in there so we are beaten for pace. Morton will make a career in football but not here and now he leaves us exposed.
We always seem to have an excuse for failure. Mowbrays tactics, not managing to bring on new players. What about them just getting their sleeves rolled up and putting in a shift. I’m not asking for Brazil or Barcelona just get on the front foot and be the first to every ball. There were tackles yesterday and at brum that with bigger commitment the ball would have broke our way but they went in half arsed. Watch the highlights soft half tackles ball bounces against us. If they do that Monday we’ll get the floor wiped with us- 6

He made a good save and had little, indeed no chance with either goal. Hyam should have got a tackle in for the second goal but he dawdled and had an absolutely awful game yesterday, all over the place.
I agree I thought Hyam had an absolute shocker. He is joined by hedges for spending half his time standing still. Gallagher was his usual self. Brereton has given up. We also revisited the slow painful roll it around style.
Thomas was and is better than hedges and Dolan should be on the field along with young Wharton
I didn’t think it was possible to repeat the brum shit show but clearly it was. The only saving grace was it didn’t take me 4 hours to get home.

Over the years I must have been to Spotland nearly as many times as I have been to Ewood. I don’t go now at all since the new current board started shitting on the Rugby League club that shares the ground with them. They’ve wrecked the chances of Hornets doing anything and now they’ve wrecked the football club. What goes around comes around.
I lived in Rochdale for 20 plus years and all my friends are dale supporters and it’s my second club. In the past dale have always had that little bit of quality players on the way up. I’ve been a few times this season and dale look fragile in all areas of the pitch. It’s a disaster for the club and hard to see how they’ll get back

It’s a disgrace and has reduced our chances of a play off position. It’s not just the loss of a player but the loss of the financial opportunities of the premiership. The lot of them should be ashamed.
I don’t feel sorry for the player he edged his bets till the last day hoping for a move to Sheff Utd or West Brom only when those collapsed did he appear here.He gambled and it went wrong tough tit.
If I was strong enough I wouldn’t go again but I’m weak

To achieve anything you need the right people in place making the decisions. After Jack died we managed to be competitive by having a magnificent senior board who got the right manager in place and ruthlessly sacked those who failed immediately. There was a clear line of accountability.
Waggot has orchestrated the classic bad management move by placing another line of management between him and accountability. We would have been better paying for a top quality manager and team rather than an inexperienced manager and a director of football with no previous experience in that role.
That would not have served Waggots purpose. My opinion is that every decision taken at ewood is about self preservation rather than success. That is why we are always on a journey and always will be

Mainly because Mowbray never built anything. He flooded the team with loans every season so every summer you had to completely rebuild the squad.
You're punishing JDT and Broughton for Mowbray's sins.
No it’s about organisational belief. Why should we believe in this incarnation more than the last when the titles are the same. Building/ projects/ value . The words are the same.
What about ambition/ competition/ promotion. If carlsberg did bullshit it would be in blue and white halves

I doubt many but how many owners bought a self sustaining club at the upper end of the premiership and delivered them into division 1 in an astounding short period of time. They never needed to if they’d have managed the club professionally. I don’t thank them it’s all they deserve and I wish it was twice that amount. There is not a single good thing they have done for Rovers since they rocked up

To continue this have we now written off the Mowbray journey. Yet the end point is still the same promotion. So after 5 years of Mowbrays journey we need another 4 years. So in 5 years of Mowbray we have to all intents and purposes achieved nothing. What makes anyone thinks this journey is better than the last one because the football and results look surprisingly similar.
We don’t need a project we need experienced players with talent. To shorten the project let’s say this window. I dont want deferred gratification I want it now- 10

My own thoughts are that we haven’t had any direction for the first 5 years. Only started to get a direction of where we wanted to go when Mowbray came in. He talked all the time about developing players and selling them on, he had the right idea but didn’t have the tools to do it. Since he’s gone and we have recruited the sporting director who has started implementing the “plan” I hope things start to improve both on and off the pitch.
the way I see things playing out.
1st season - they see this as a free hit, no one expects us to get promoted rightly or wrongly.
2nd season - gain the consistency this season has not offered and be in and around the top six.
3rd season - in the playoffs/ promoted.
4 season - same as above.
JDT will be given time and if he doesn’t reach the targets set in the future, then he needs to be removed and a new coach replaces with the same philosophy and ideas as the plan.
So I have to wait another 4 or 5 years for a chance at promotion. That’s a minimum of 16 years to get it right. Burnley one year and you believe this is a great sell.
What about this we are in a play off spot let’s roll the dice and go for it. If we get it wrong then we can take the next five years to put it right. Then I’m happy to sit and wait. I’m sick of this gravy tomorrow idea it is a bag of shite. Under that philosophy thr good ones we produce will be sold and then we wait again.
im sorry and it’s not personal but what a bag of bollocks.

My great plan although no one asked.
Gelhardt in , vale out on loan
Porteous in , carter out on loan
Vetlesen in , a.wharton out on loanDiaz will leave for free in summer no matter what. So if possible we should be looking for a replacement but if one does not materialise I think this would improve the spine of the team a lot
Mine geldhart in Gallagher out to Sunderland
porteous in Ayala out spent half the time her injured whether true or not and I’m sick of his killer passes
vetlesen in Morton back to Liverpool he can get his education there rather than slowing our play down and not tackling.

If the manager has anything resembling ambition he needs to be in broughtons office Monday morning and demand quality signings or resign. We carry no threat and Gallagher first touch , heading and ability to hold up the ball is poor. We desperately need a big guy up top to disrupt defences and a senior midfield player to dictate play and get the tackles in whether this blocks development or not. We are to small to young and lack genuine pace. There’s no drive and desire it’s almost as if the object of the game is to keep the ball not win.
It is amongst the worst football I’ve seen at Rovers what happened to the cavalry charge when we need goals to get back in games. It is utter dross

It’s just so sterile. We never build pressure on a team. By sterile I mean absolutely boring. What ever journey we are on needs revaluation because it’s shocking. We have got away with this rubbish in the first half of the season bet we don’t in the second half.
