  1. I will be there again. I changed my work schedule at Christmas thinking promotion. There’s one born every minute.Positives the ground is only 15 mins walk from the station unlike Coventry which was in another town. Wetherspoons is 5 mins from the station cheap beer. Negatives I fear 90 minutes of absolute tedium.

Result 1v1. One down half time. Equaliser in first 15 of second half. Strange substitutions after this. Sit back and see it out

Mowbray good point at a difficult place. Doesn’t want to listen to doom mongers.

He has looked totally lost since coming back from injury. Not dynamic enough to play in the role he's being asked to play. Think Edun is a better option there, but we need both a RWB and LWB for next season if Mowbray stays on and persists with the current system.

The player who has let me down the most recently is Rothwell. Thought it was a bonus for us when he stayed past January, but don't see the big loss right now. Travis has had to cover a lot of ground lately, and while he's good at it, he doesn't have the pace to catch players once they ghost past him. Wharton also has made a lot of mistakes and luckily Kaminski has been great between the sticks and van Hecke plays well beyond his years centrally.

Even if we make the play-offs now by some miracle, the quality of play just isn't there and we won't last long versus any of the other top six. A real shame we lost momentum, we only have ourselves to blame for not scoring a couple of vitals penalties and for conceding late. That confidence from run of form looks long gone now though.

On the Rothwell point I think what he is producing now is more typical of his time at Rovers than earlier in the season. He as always been very frustrating having a lot of ability but let down by application.

The formation was worked out by opposition managers months ago. Changing personnel in the same formation changes nothing for the opposition  it gives them nothing more to worry about.

This season looks done to me.

Correct absolutely spot for on. Every season Mowbray starts with a plan. It works up until Christmas then teams work us out but we don’t change the plan. In reality this is no different than every other season we just forgot the second half of the film and got our hopes up believing that it may end differently

  4. I’ve not read any preceding observations because as usual I’ve been to depressed so if anyone else as said this I apologise.

Watching the games at the moment are like watching the same game over and over again.
Rothwell man marked unable to get into the game and dictate it. This leaves us slow and predictable.Travis trying to do his job and create. Gallagher control with his back to goal is poor. Teams defending deep and limiting our chances coupled with an inability to take the clear openings we get.

The squad lacks a plan b which in my opinion should have been the big old target man. Lump it up to him bring it down an lay it off to the runners. Unfortunately we don’t have that.

It is difficult to see how the cycle is broken. Opposing teams have learnt how to deal with us and we are slow to learn how to overcome the two banks of 4 you can have the ball.

Hopefully Dack and Diaz can save us and positively we are still in the mix

  5. I watched Gallagher last night and he does run around a lot. He’s quick to get to the opposition player with the ball but at the point of impact slows down. The result is he never gets in a tackle and the player lays the ball off. Dolan is the exact opposite he runs to get the tackle in and therefore robs the ball from the defender.
Gallaghers first touch is poor. His anticipation is also poor the result is always a split second late or rocking back on his heels. In all honesty I’m not sure what the answer is because it’s not effort it’s football intelligence that appears to be missing

  6. Not a great result or performance but I still think we have enough for the play offs. Lacked firepower but with Diaz Rothwell and Dack out it was always going to be uphill.

Fulham is a funny old ground with very civilised support. Easily the best team in the league but will be straight back down because that style of play from the back football will get picked apart a division higher.

Now is when the real test of our credentials comes not many challengers left to play and lots of mid tablers.

He will probably have gone from 28k per month to 80k....so an extra 52k per month plus probably a half million signing fee....

I'd say that would get your attention.

Even more than that I couldn’t look them in the face knowing what I’d done for money. Loyalty had a price. If we where mid table it means nothing £52000 I would do it for millions because I like to feel proud o  FC myself

And if he walked into my dressing room tomorrow on that premise after letting down his own team mates to help the rival I know what I would think of him. I know the answer footballers think differently because there special

So if someone contacted you and offered six times your salary you wouldn't be curious and want to know a bit more about it?

Sorry, anyone who says they wouldn't isn't being truthful there.

Is money everything. How empty are you. If I had £200 a week yes I would because it provides for my families needs. If I was on £10000 per week I have a choice. I am always at a loss by men who would sell themselves for money. Particularly when they have more thanthey will ever need. If you really believe that the definition of success is defined by money and that every individual can be bought by it then you really don’t appreciate that there are much more important things that define an individual than pounds.
I don’t know Rothwell so can’t answer for him individually but if his search is for money at the expensive of the less quantifiable moral characteristics  then he will eventually find its an empty chase

Finally before you come back with the club would not be loyal argument you make your own decision on what you want to be not on what others would do.

If a rival council comes in and offers said road sweeper double his wages, do you think he's going to turn it down? See out his shift with the lads? Absolutely not - he'd be off like a shot.

It's a job to these players, nothing more.

The road sweeper is on a couple of hundred quid where money is the difference between food on the table or not.yes I and everyone else would take it. More so his entire shift would applaud it.

Let me try again this guy is on a fortune by not only road sweeper standards but the average guy in the street. This buys him choice the opportunity to express the man he is not the man he would like to be. I am at a complete and utter loss at this individual’s moral compass. If it’s about a few extra quid in the bank for four months before he can choose where he goes then it’s unexplainable.
I can only assume that as an individual he is hated by the entire dressing room and wants a change to be more popular. I cannot find a single excuse for this including yours above. Absolutely unexplainable and more if I was a guy in the Bournemouth changing room I’d have a very low opinion of him because I bet they don’t get it
