  1. Our recruitment of players is following the same path of the recruitment of a manager and greg. All overseen by the guy who thinks flogging Brockhall was a good idea, overpriced season tickets good idea and a wage structure that makes us uncompetitive.

Running a football club dead shite.

Great at the not difficult community PR.

From February till now is really soul destroying. It’s all a cost cutting.
The journey is to become a self sufficient premiership club. Not a cat in hells chance. I suspect under the current regime we couldn’t become a self sufficient league one club,

I am pretty annoyed tonight. Sick of traveling to watch surrender and sick of journeys

  2. It’s starting to turn into the usual shit show. After witnessing today unless they get their hands in their pockets nobody of any value is coming here. If I was the manager I would consider my position because scapegoat springs to mind.
The manager is being allowed to take all the flack while waggot and the bald guy say nothing. No one is going to put up with that and I can see a Lambert situation arriving

Anyone talking about relegation after 5 league games (of which we’ve won 3 of) needs to have a word with themselves.

I’ve described our fans as the footballing personification of Bipolar disease - and I stick by it.

A LONG way to go this season; let’s see how the transfer window ends.

Did you just watch that. I’d put that up there with Oldham away league 1. Having said that Reading takes some beating. One is unlucky two becomes concerning. They better have some big things in the pipeline or if I was this manager I’d quit and leave them to it. Broughton can then come out and explain his purpose. It is just same old same old

  4. Well that was appalling. Out fought, disorganised losing by only 3 is flattering.

either Thomason is no good and has flattered to deceive

    or

we have to people at this club running us into the floor. Broghton needs to get his finger out  and get his head out of waggot arse.
players cost money the bargain basement doesn’t work. If we don’t find 6 experienced and players we aren’t promotion candidates but relegation foder.

They have pissed around all summer looking for the cheap option appointments manager and players . Smodic don’t make me laugh.if someone else wants a player they get them.

waggot Venkies and Brogton just f of

In fairness I thought the luck went against us today with the deflected goal, our goals were both sheer class and we defended resolutely throughout

Yeah I agree. I thought it was a great defensive performance. If they hadn’t got the deflected goal I don’t think they would ever have scored. Even the makeshift defence didn’t look that troubled. They did have the ball but didn’t do a lot with it. The flip side of that is we are clinical and that must be frightening. Ask WBA and Swansea. Really professional organised performance with great game management. Almost Italian in its method. Just a pleasure to watch and gives you confidence.

I’m sad enough to look through every players post on Instagram… Dack hasn’t liked or posted on any of them. Trav has liked and posted on every players post.

Really that’s is your measure. How sad is that.

one guy it’s going well for the other not

Dack it’s been a disaster physically and more importantly mentally.

    He was our talisman.

We are now talking like he’s a burden. He was and is the best footballer at our club

That is regardless of what our manager thinks

  7. Dack is a great player. I can’t believe we’ve already forgotten him. Head and shoulders above anything on our team or in this league. Our manager is a professional and you don’t through away one of your main assets.
He’s nor fit after 2 years of injury fair call. There is no set of circumstances that he’s being shipped out. What isn’t happening is on the pitch at all costs

JDT actually came off the dole, but let’s not split hairs.

As I said, everyone hopes you’re right, if we finish higher than 8th we’ll have improved.

Gav sometimes you know when your wrong but you can’t admit it. That is where you are. There are better managers than Mowbray. Just accept it and own it

No no, it's not a question at all. It's as near to a fact as it's possible to get, that he wasn't.

Not to undermine my own argument but we where at an away game and Lowe was terrible. There was a bunch of 12 year old girls around us, one of them new her stuff and was shouting at Lowe . Lowe mark the man not the space. The crowd cheered her. He looked over and shrugged

  10. I never had a problem with Jason Lowe. He gave it all for the shirt and the club. Whether he was good enough is another question. I feel sad he’s become a benchmark for shit when there have been far worse and more disloyal

    bradley Orr

    danny murphy

    dickson ethu

Now these guys are the real wankers. Lowe did his best these where here for the money and the free ride.

    is Buckley better than these

  11. On the game

Defensively Ayla is a cut above this league but only play  as when he wants

Wharton has got the championship bagged

pickering first half very poor but second pretty good

    buckley is class

    travis played like travis

hedges I thought had a really good game. Some of the passes and through balls didn’t come off today but he saw them which bodes well

Gallagher is Gallagher bags of effort

Vale I thought was ok it’s his first game in mens football. He worked hard and picked the right passes without being spectacular

All in All a d good day at the office

One question I've got is really how different a setup was it to Mowbray really if we're honest. Very similar.

And I don't mean that as a negative to JDT just that really the way Mowbray set us up wasn't that daft. He wanted Nyambe out, he played Gallagher on the wing and BBD on the left.

It may well evolve over time but it's hardly chalk and cheese. People got fed up with Mowbray but he played a similar game to what we saw today.

So I guess the question is what does JDT need to do to be better than Mowbray as that's what we all want to move onwards and upwards?

Not completely fold after Christmas not once but year after year

. Not be in second place in February and miss the play offs by going on a run of relegation form.

    Not lose 7v0.

Not go on the longest losing run

Not blame the supporters lack of understanding for your own cock ups.

Not bring in players that don’t fit the system then mis utilise them: Giles

Not leave rovers and then recommend rovers players to your own club

    lenihan

    giles

    armstrong

I’m probably biased but I had no time for Mowbray. It may be the same system but with a better manager

  13. We’ll if that high press open at the back on the front foot is their game plane for 46 games they are fucked
Apparently it’s all been behind closed doors stuff so no one knew what there at.

Unless there is some hidden plan B or they have another high energy team waiting in the wings it’s just predictable. It’s another star player remembering what his manager did with the 50 million pound player

They’ve  sold everyone and replaced them with the cheaper version and it appears with a predictable approach to the game. We can easily match them man for man and commitment. Bring them on

  14. If rovers are waiting to sign a player rather than any player then we need patience. Styles  and Bowler there clubs will do what we are doing with Diaz go to the wire to see if a bigger offer comes in from teams who get desperate. Van hecke is being assessed by Brighton there is nothing we can do. The Same possible applies to Cantwell.

I would prefer the right player than just picking from the end of contract/ released players. The current outfit seem a bit more professional and may well stick to the plan rather than panic
