I reckon there will be a keeper here by tonight. Doubt it'll be Carson as he is in Florida. Hoping it is him though. Experienced at this level and still years ahead of him. My other hope is that it is Vorm.

I don't see the problem with Johnson at all. Another player that can help somebody like Travis, Davenport and Buckley. Another player that might have an idea about game management. We looked so naive at times last season and the likes of Johnson and Downing might just add another intelligent dimension to our play.

Johnson is a far better option than Adam. Adam strikes me as another Danny Murphy, looking for one last pay cheque.

It's been said all along there is money to spend. TM has always pulled transfers out of leftfield and I can see the Assombalonga rumours having legs. If we can get him for let's say 8 million instead of Gallagher for 5 then I would take that all day long. Sell Raya for 4 bring a keeper in for free and use the Raya money to sign a centre half. Cooper would be the ideal signing in my eyes. Assombalonga would probably suit the style of football TM has said he wants to play. We can then use DG as plan B. Who knows what's going to happen but at least we have a glimmer of hope.

I actually think Samuel will play a big part next season. He will be desperate to impress having missed last season. I see him with 10/12 goals most of which will come from the bench.

I have a feeling we will see Nyambe at centre half next season. Seems to enjoy playing there with Namibia, and by all accounts has done well. Would love to see him as big success at Rovers, could really become a fan favourite.

I don't for one minute think we should sign Charlie Adam, and I am not in favour of signing older players because they are free. I was simply posting a team that made up of successful older signings.
