  1. Exactly, both Bowyer and Mowbray might have “brought stability to the club”, but it swiftly leaves the building with them. Once more unto the breach, my friends
  2. Ideally, yes. I just don’t buy the talk of a Farke or a Dyche coming in. With our ownership we’re either going to end up with someone naive, or an experienced manager who is desperate. I’d rather have a hungry manager with something to prove than someone on their way down topping up the old pension pot. The only thing keeping me slightly optimistic is that the new manager is going to step in and basically have the run of the place, as Mowbray seemed to. Could be attractive to some. Simply being given a budget, then being told to just get on with it with zero interference or fallings out, build the club as you want it etc
  3. Fair comment, just throwing it out there but I honestly think we can, and will, do worse.
  4. Sounds a bit of a Roy Keane appointment at first but I think he’s always come across well in interviews Marco Silva’s first team coach Rafa Benitez assistant manager Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant manager Must fancy a proper gig now?
  5. Really don’t get that from him myself. Serious, intense, big personality etc. The kind of thing that I think we’ll need after TM. Seems a good match to me.
  6. Not seen it mentioned but someone brought up Duncan Ferguson in the pub the other day and the more I’ve thought about it the more I like the idea…
  7. Kenny Jackett would be a horrendous appointment. He just got sacked for nearly relegating Leyton Orient!
  8. Perhaps. I'm just expecting a Judan Ali style appointment.
  9. So Bournemouth's direct rivals for the title/autos haven't got a point when he's reffed? Stop! You're making it worse 🤣
  10. Putin is a wanker He’s started to attack But if he fires a missile Van Hecke will head it back
  11. Like vaccines? Just because you don’t know what’s in them and how that affects the body short term/long term doesn’t mean other people don’t know. Anyway shirt is shit and it’s ruined any chance of promotion.
  12. The point of that sentence is that airborne car pollution is far more damaging to health than an inert glycerine based vapour. Uninformed emotional responses to things people don’t fully understand??? On the internet????!! 😱🤣 Agree on the shirt of course! 💙💙
  13. That would be a good point, if it were true. (WHO technical guidance from 10th Jan 2020 - "Based on experience with SARS and MERS and known modes of transmission of respiratory viruses, infection and prevention control guidance were published to protect health workers recommending droplet and contact precautions when caring for patients, and airborne precautions for aerosol generating procedures conducted by health workers.")
  14. Good job they don't contain oil then innit. Shirt is a shocker though. I tried to jump on yesterday as soon as it was announced to buy a "recoverite" one before they changed it, but they'd already done them all 😤
  15. Lipoid Pneumonia has only been caused (once) by unregulated THC-carts sold under the counter in the USA. The testing and regulation involved in E-Liquid/device manufacture in this country means that just can't happen with normal vapes. It's impossible, they don't work the same way. Of course "things" in the lungs are not as ideal as fresh mountain air, but you're probably safer with a vape in your mouth when walking down a busy gridlocked city street. Anyway, I think everyone could bicker about this until the cows come home so I'll leave it there!
  16. It won't. Science trumps "I'm fairly sure" unless your research is showing something different? Should try vaping @Oldgregg86! It's far healthier and proven effective smoking cessation device. Anyway, whether you're pro vaping or not - I think we can all agree that the shirt looks absolutely bloody terrible. Also hard to stop the superstitious nagging that changing the shirt affects our promotion juju.
  17. I think the loan to buy can be hedged nicely against promotion. We can attract hungry players for the second half of the season, and if we go up the fee won't be an issue. If we don't, we can re-analyse the deal and see if we can afford it/is worth it. Opportunity to bring some real quality through the door, and I assume this is the case with Zeefuik - we might not be in a position to sign him if we're still in this division next year.
  18. We had one lad who got relegated from Ligue 2. He ended up playing for Sevilla & Roma and winning the World Cup.
  19. Would've thought putting the front of the shirt out to tender again (considering our position, on TV loads coming up) would've raised more than Totally Wicked could reasonably afford. Anyway, jumped on to buy a Recoverite away shirt before they sold out.
  20. Minutes wise he's contributing a goal involvement every 1.5 games in a stop start season. I'd say that's pretty redeeming. I don't mind Butterworth but I've not seen enough to say he would do any better at all.
  21. Gallagher has 5 goals and 3 assists in 18 league appearances.
  22. Agreed. It's one of the most exciting leagues in the world, but I'd rather be crap in the Prem than crap in the Champ.
  23. Nor Dack as seen suggested here. Dack contributes for a start. 13 goals in the Champ throughout his entire career! Have no idea why the hype train has always been so high.
  24. I watch a fair bit of Wednesday and for me Bannan is one of the most overrated players in the EFL. He's found his level.
