  1. Ismael hoping to have player(s) back tomorrow. Can only assume Cantwell and maybe Toth if his injury wasn't as bad as feared. On another note Ipswich play tonight before Tuesday's game. Has to be another advantage to them to have the extra recovery time. Still don't understand why this fixture was squeezed into the the busiest period of the season. Whether it was the first available date or not, we should have made the bastards wait for a convenient date for us,
  2. Has to make changes surely. The midfield non existent. Forshaw/Baradji for TGH/ Montgomery.. Missing Sonny big time. Can't play worse 2nd half surely
  3. Interesting just watching this video of Adam in the warm up. Not watching the ball, just constantly looking around as if in a game scenario, looking for options, head up all the time https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPi1u1LDEly/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
  4. Closer to home, Andre Ooijer and Michel Salgado were top internationals who took time to get up to speed here. Both came good in the end
  5. Southampton 4-0 up away at. Charlton. 4 goals in 8 mins 😲 Think they may stick with the guy in caretaker charge, he's really turned them round
  6. Ismael has confirmed Pratt was going to start against Derby but having only returned to the club 24 hours before the game he didn't feel he had enough time to adjust to team patterns etc
  7. Still 9 games to play before the window opens (and probably more before we get deals over the line) We are probably fine everywhere except of course defensively, I honestly don't know what we would do Miller or McLoughlin get injured or suspended. Same goes for Alebiosu. Can't think of the answer in the current squad for those places
  8. Sorry to hear that news. Condolences to you and your family
  9. Get the fuck in, what a result (and performance) that was. We may be shit at home but we are smoking away 💙🤍
  10. I just wonder if Toth would have got the same criticism. Somehow I doubt it. Anyway, this game reminds me of Derby, just up against a physically stronger side, even though we were ok that 1st half. Do worry a bit for us in the 2nd 45
  11. You do realise not every goal we concede is down to to he keeper ? How ithe fuck is that down to Pears ?
  12. Alebiosu v Small is turning into quite an interesting battle
  13. He's 22, not a kid anymore , 6'3" apparently. Just don't see any alternative if we stick with a back 3. You could also argue what's the point of having academy players if you aren't going to play them, especially in dire need like this You saw what shuffling the pack did in the last game , it was a shambles tbh
  14. If Ismael is being honest about creating pathways for some of the academy lads, the surely he has to hand a chance to Pratt tomorrow. After the Hedges disaster last week (not blaming him for that btw), it has to be back to round pegs in round holes . Pratt surely can't do any worse. It has to be a back 3 for me as I really don't see Miller and McLoughlin in a back 4. This is something we all knew was going to happen and now it's being realised as injuries start to bite hard
  15. Seems to be much better news on Toth, hopefully back in a month 😄 Difficult to see but that is a link below https://x.com/RoversXtra/status/1988335418648211932?s=20
  16. I would imagine they have got some sort of behind closed doors game arranged as well, similar to the last break when they played the Dingkes
  17. Get it done NOW so at least there's the international break to start his recovery. We don't want a Baradji situation where he was here a few weeks before he even got his surgery
  18. Although obviously bad news I honestly was bracing myself for it being an ACL injury so in some ways it's a bit of a relief. Time for Pears to step up.
  19. I had to check wiki and it states Pickering 5'8" and Ribeiro 5'11". 😮 No way that can be right surely, just seeing them on the pitch Pickering looks bigger to me but admittedly having seen Pickering recently. With Ribeiro being taller then he would be the better option at lcb I guess
  20. Would Puckering not be a better choice as a 3rd CB if that's the way we go ? His height would give him an advantage over Ribeiro, but he seems to have fallen out of favour with VI
