  1. I’m into history, and since I’m not very familiar with “Brum”, I had to look up the numbers (courtesy, 11x11, hopefully they are right): 52 Rovers wins, 35 draws, 48 losses. The first ten years, they were known as Small Heath. The first meeting was Rovers most goals in the series, & the largest margin of victory, 9-1. In the PL, the numbers were even, 5 Rovers wins, 4 draws, 5 losses. The last game vs Brum was April 9, 2011, a 1-1 draw, Junior Hoilett goal, 45+6, equalizer. Enough of history. It’s at their place, but they sit 17th. They are 15th in goals scored, 16th in goals allowed. Of our 9 remaining games, this ranks about the 2nd easiest. I’ve got to keep the playoff dream alive in my mind vs this bunch, Rovers win, 2-1. COYB!!!
  2. PL- Burnley, ShefU; M’bro (po) Relegated- Huddersfield, Wigan, Blackpool. So, the way they currently sit. I’d love to say Rovers promote, I simply think our schedule too difficult, & our frontline not strong enough to score.
  3. I’m sure Tomasson fell on the sword post-game. This loss was not on the subs, or those he took out, I’m sure he took the blame. I am still glad we have him. I hope we can keep him.
  4. I would agree to getting Wharton on the pitch. And, we need Dolan’s speed, Gally getting beat to any loose ball.
  5. The whole idea of Rovers being in the semis of a cup is novel to me. I am just thrilled I get the game on ESPN+. COYB!
  6. Too bad about Buckley, I thought he had progressed well, and we could afford to send Morton back to Liverpool. It won’t happen now (until end of the season). With all the other injuries, guys are going to have to come through. We need some players like Travis, Gallagher, Wharton (when ready), to give us some of the best football of their careers.
  7. Millwall (1 pt down) & M’bro (5 pts up) both at home today; we will know what kind of mountain we have to climb tomorrow.
  8. I agree with Andy on this. This is as close to a “must-win” as it gets, a home game vs a bottom of the division outfit, who do not score on the road. Bb-D, Dolan, Thomas, & Szmodics- if there is a way to get them all on the pitch at one time, I would do it. I will go for a 2-1 win, ugly, but we will savor a win just as much at the final whistle, as if it were 10-0 (well, maybe not!), a win is a win. COYB!
