Crazy taking Dack of as you say if he is fit then he must be on the pitch. As for Williams I just don't get what Mowbray see's in him and I don't get why he paid decent money for another full back to just sit on the bench as I can't see him dropping Williams.

The starting 11 won't but just look at the subs we brought on today Nutall who has 4 career goals, Conway who is well past his best and was very average in league 1 last year. 4-5 players still needed.

Questions to be asked of Mowbray why take Dack off, why pay so much money on a full back and never play him & why was a replacement for Graham not sorted by now given he knows Graham can't play more than 70 minutes.

Not sure where you fit Dack into a 4-4-2 though as he's not a striker and playing in a two man midfield would restrict him in attack.

The problem with playing two up front is that the only way we could play it is by playing 3 at the back and when we play that we usually look rubbish. Armstrong for £2-3 Million would be a good deal a 21 year old whose an Under 21 international. One good season in the Championship and his value will go to around £10 Million, just look at Waghorn 28 years old one good season at this level in his career and now said to be moving for around £7-8 Million. As well as Armstrong though I would still like to see another striker, centre back & natural winger brought in.

Nugent was born in May 1985 making him 33 years of age. Mowbray wants players with Championship experience you aren't going to be getting any 20 year olds with experience but you will get players 28+ year olds with plenty of experience. Its all very well wanting to sign young players but you still need experience as well.

Nugent's 33 probably got 2 years left in him at least, as his game has never been about pace.

Would be a good signing but I'm not a fan of short term loan because if he is any good a team higher up the league will take him in the new year just like we did with Payne last season.

Pleased for Samuel he's desperately needed a goal for a while, now hopefully this will give him some confidence to kick on.

Don't think anyone has said they want us to spend £8 Million on 1 players but I think most people would have expected us to spend more on players this summer than last we did last summer, given that we are playing in a higher division.

Perhaps, but the fact remains over 46 games they were not good enough to stay up and I'd say the only player we have now who is better than anything we had then is Dack.

All those sides would probably say the same about us though. The year we went down there were teams that on paper that we should have finished above and the current squad is only marginally better than the one that went down.

6-7 Million over the next 4 windows perhaps, but no chance that we have that left to spend in this window.
