  1. I know, such a bad comment…. This transfer window he has failed big style, he knows that. I wouldn’t say tying down numerous key youngster to long contracts as a “disaster”
  2. Clubs “fans” sorry. Just on twitter, a lot appreciate the transparency. Something they say their clubs have never done.
  3. Just watched Greggs interview. Really refreshing to hear feedback. I’m not sure what is meant by “do both players still want to come?” Does that mean if the appeal is won? Or like to try again next season? If the latter, no way O’brien or Forest will want to come back. Of course GB will say that on this interview. He’s not exactly going to say “no LOB is disappointed and doesn’t want to come” For me there’s more to it but we will never know. Lessons to be learnt. GB has to make this summer a success. IF not then we all know he isn’t up for it. He’s got pressure from us fans & JDT, because the manager won’t hang around. Other clubs seem impressed with the honesty and interview which you have to credit so fair play.
  4. I think the most effective thing is banners. It’s all good saying things like leaving early & not turning up but enough people won’t do it. Banners with Waggot out would be effective IMO.
  5. Man, with a O’brien controlling the midfield I would have been the first down to Ewood on Monday & I think a few others would have been the same. Instead lots will be staying away. Hopefully one day we can all be satisfied with a transfer window again. Maybe after this summer? We can dream.
  6. I would be keen to know who’s at fault. I like the work GB has/had done before this window. If one of those loans strikers happened maybe this all wouldn’t be as bad. But yes at the end of the day it didn’t so questions need to be asked. The blame for me falls with Waggot. JDT & GB IMO need to stay otherwise we will be in even more sh*t.
  7. You would think that’s the case…. The fine would have to be a large one, otherwise the “richer” clubs would do it more often than not.
  8. One thing here is we don’t want this to have a knock on effect for JDT. He walks and we’re screwed. Who the hell will want to come manage us….
  9. Jackson confirming both deals failed LOL
  10. What a chance we had. We won’t get chances like this for a very long time - shambles.
  11. He certainly won’t be coming back here on loan that’s for sure.
  12. Cue the music…Looking forward to the clubs explanation.
  13. Not happening according to Nixon!!! FFS
  14. Knowing us we probably persuaded that one first, before realising we had 2 players Sat being interviewed.
  15. Is it just not an appeal?? Everyone has the right to appeal don’t they?
  16. Did it not happen to West Brom last year with Onomah? They said it’s similar and it get rejected…therefore surely this has to be the same.
  17. Yeap it can’t happen in my eyes. Imagine if it did, we got in the play offs and he scored for us to go up…I would be outraged if it did get approved & if I was any other club in the EFL…Have they approved anything like this in the past?
  18. 100% agree. The manor in how we’ve let slip is unforgivable…No striker is a massive fail seeing as it’s clear as day we need one… I’m going off that O’brien isn’t happening, that way I won’t be disappointed tomorrow…Think thats how I’m going to be now moving forward in every transfer window. I just feel sorry for JDT as much as us fans.
  19. Nixon saying it will be resolved tomorrow.
  20. Sounds like Thomas is a handful already.
  21. He defiantly hasn’t been a disaster since he started. He’s done well to tie down the youngsters. I will agree he has failed here though with or without O’brien.
  22. Now this story has been leaked….There’s no way EFL can approve. How is that fair on other teams who have been in similar positions.
  23. The club at the top is a complete circus. No chance JDT will stick around after this pathetic excuse of a Window - He's been screaming for reinforcements since he started...We've failed on the first hurdle. Even if we bring in O'brien, the excitment has been sucked out of me with how its all gone about. Late to the races, no communication, no organisation..GB has failed & thats the bottom line, no excuses. I feel sorry for those who buy season tickets year after year under this current regime. Luckily i stopped getting mine after the Allardyce days Shambles doesn't come close.
