Not sure what game you were all watching? He had great game, played a lot deeper than normal and was very disciplined. Some lovely sequences and made some great passes. 8/11 duels won, 6 Tackles, 3 interceptions 2 key passes breaking play - not bad comparing to the value of the lads he was playing against The feedback from palace fans is all positive with a lot of other teams admiring him - in around 18 months we will have a serious sell on fee coming our way.

It will be like last summer with the following players 'possibly' leaving. Szmodics - 6-7m Dolan - 3-4m Travis - 1-2m Carter - 4-5m Gallagher 2m Eustace may play a factor is some players actually wanting to stay at the club, whereas if we had JDT still around some would rather of left. Due to his age and this possibly being a '1 season wonder' I think it would be wise to cash in on Szmodics - Only if it meant we could re-invest in 2/3 players. I would definitely cash in on Carter at the same time.

1-1. We need to keep our eyes on Dembele who will have our full backs on a knife edge.

Noticed McGuire still has Rovers in his bio on Instagram - A few whispers yesterday saying we’ve got him tied up in summer? Not sure if anyone else has heard anything.

I think Eustace coming in will sway Dolan to sign…Eustace is known for bringing the best out of his players, especially the youngsters - here’s hoping.

Chrisene had a good game for me.

Fustrating at conceding there. Gives Stoke a glimmer of hope which is the last thing we wanted…All teams around us winning so we HAVE to see this out.

Really curious as to how this game is going to go…Will we fly out the traps and play how we can or are we going to be reserved and try not to leak goals. We lack so much pace and lack any kind of directness - especially on the wings. Our 2 wingers, for me, aent even wingers so this needs to be improved drastically in the summer. Stoke despite their position have some good players. 2-0 loss sadly with a lot of work to be done by JE.

Poveda doing what a winger should be doing. Direct and ability to beat a man to setup the first goal. When he’s fit, he’s streets ahead of any “winger” we have.

Exactly…let’s remember what happens when he was in charge of contracts…I hope GB stays.

Think Eustace will get the best out of these players to keep us there or there abouts mid table. We will see if he’s good enough to push us forward - of course that will depend on the funds or lack of funds in summer.

Andy, genuine question? Who would you be happy with? I understand the possible risks with Eustace but I can’t see anyone else (more qualified) to want to come to Ewood.
