  1. Incidentally, this graph highlights why ourselves and Wigan trounced the 3rd division. It also shows why getting out at the first attempt was a life or death situation for our club. The decision / gamble to keep the championship squad fortunately paid off.
  2. We will only really know around March when the 2018/2019 accounts are published, how far we are from FFP. As it stands we know we run a circa £15 million operating loss per year. Past 2 seasons total £20.6 million so we should end up around £36 - 38 million against the limit of 39. It's the following season when the £3.8 million loss has rolled off the cliff that we need to worry about. This is where the Dack sale (or someone) for circa £15 million becomes critical for us. The £1.5 million loss in 15/16 was when we sold Rhodes, Gestede, King. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/15107733.blackburn-rovers-cut-losses---club-debts-still-stand-106m/ This player sales profit needs to be repeated within the next 18 months or we MUST get promoted.
  3. Only way we buy now is if we sell Brereton for £15 million after developing him into a goal machine worthy of the PL. The golden goose is crocked so we need to lower our expectations. Ben Gladwin.... Like a new Dack.
  4. And ? £39 million loss in 3 seasons is the limit. Venkys having the cash isn't the issue. Aren't we running a circa £15 million loss per year ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47650699
  5. I thought you were going to suggest surely Brentford would be head hunting Ben Benson as a replacement.
  6. Based on the assumption Nyambe and Evans are injured and Tosin is "injured". I think Dack being out will mean Graham's chances will be limited. i.e. the post Dack and Graham lineup. Walton Bennett Lenihan Williams Downing Travis Johnson Armstrong Holtby Rothwell Gallagher
  7. 6 months recovery 6 months on the bench "learning how we play"
  8. As the club read this board expect a Tosin interview in tomorrow's LT laying to rest the rumours. This is fairly fuckin important at this crucial time in our season BDS. No wonder our arses are twitching. A week ago we could smell Wembley ! A few days ago almost 19K in Ewood awaiting the team news.... This is not some trivial matter.
  9. Well is he going to be more expensive than Ronaldinho ? I console myself that we can afford him but we can't buy him because of FFP and that is the fan's fault for not turning up every week.
  10. Matip out Gomez in, stuff 2nd place side 4-0. Comparing us with this Liverpool side isn't really apples with apples. No... because he hasn't played the last 2 games, no explanations, no sightings, no comments from the player, rumours that he is going back to City, Transfer window opening in 5 days. Can you understand this ?
  11. Was Tosin at the match yesterday? Daily tweeter has been silent since 19th Dec as well as absent. His agent must be family by the name and also manages his brother Fisayo. https://mobile.twitter.com/GAdarabioyo Looks like a family Xmas in Holland as he landed in Rotterdam on the 23rd ?
  12. Nyambe injured. Bennett as cover. Cunningham (not ours...yet) injured. Downing as cover. Lenihan (injury prone). No cover. Tosin (not ours) back to City. Williams as cover. Walton (not ours...yet) This is the state of our defence. It's a right royal fuck up. "Defenders are coming"
  13. is it going to be Dack cover OR defenders? Tosin (not ours) Cunningham (not ours) Walton (not ours) Pretty sure we should be sticking to plan A and sorting the back out. If plan A included Dack to West Brom for £15mill to fund then it may be neither.
  14. Not heard Tony actually say what the problem is with Tosin (if anything). He says we will see Dack this time next year. Bet that screws the transfer plans. Please just get shut of Bell next month.
  15. Because we won at Bristol, leading Tony to think he was right all along and we were wrong. I would describe that as a fluke Tony, not proof of genius.
  16. 4 home points dropped. We would be 5th (joint 3rd). All downhill from here. Absolute dog shit.
