shame for Morecambe but they have success in recent seasons. Derek Adams seems to fit that club.

League 1 last day tomorrow. Bradford and Salford need a point to make sure they get those playoff place. Hope both do it. Plus Stockport could get Automatic promotion if they win tomorrow and Northampton lose. Exciting day of football tomorrow

So you want Salford owned by a bunch of ex Man U players to get in the playoffs, rather anybody but them for me

No I am going back to the early 2000s Juve scandal.

I agree the latest Juve scandal is just a total mess now. No consistency, no clarity on what the future attitudes would be and nobody emerging with with any respect or credit.

There's corruption all over Europe, you've also got Barcelona apparently giving a ton of money to the former La Liga refs vice president for " consultancy " work

  3. It doesn't matter how good we might be playing atm,i have no faith that while Venkys are the owners that we will get promotion.lots of people recently saying hopefully JDT will get backing in the summer to improve us,the time to get the backing was in Jan when we were up at the top,we ended up trying to get last day loans and we failed all month to get a striker, but they tried to get people in people will say,we're tryers and the people getting promoted are the people that get things done.

We will be in the same position next season then the season after etc etc until we get owners that give a shit about the club getting back intp the prem.

I am certain the plan is not to sell either Adam or Ash this summer.

That isn't to say a silly money offer would be refused but it would be beyond daft to plan to sell either this year. Broughton talks about creating value ie maximising. Not a car boot sale of future worldies.

Dortmund paid £25m for Bellingham as a 17 year old in 2020.

That is the yard stick for any offers this sumer.

Bellingham had played a full season in the Championship and had just got EFL young player of the year when he was sold,Adam has played 10 games and still has  a way to go to be sold for that money

Man City youngsters were a joy to watch today and sometimes you just have to say the opponents were too good for you. There was no lack of effort from Rovers but City's passing, movement and touch was excellent - it was so easy on the eye. In fairness Sam Burns came on in the second half and was probably Rovers best player as he could have had a goal or two with his running in behind. Ayala looked a way off fitness yet and I'll be surprised if he features in the first team this season. Interestingly there was no Ash Phillips or Harry Leonard.

I just googled and City have 38 players out on loan and yet these played us off the park, just shows the gap between a Championship club and a top Prem teams resources.

  6. With Sunderland playing well at the end of the season and us falling away again, maybe its time to stop calling it a Mowbray death spiral that we had the last few years and it is just a Rovers death spiral,we have/had have a squad of players that cant see it through when the going gets tough.

  7. After watching the dross shooting last night i stuck on 100 great goals from the 00s this morning,Brereton and Gally are not in the same stratosphere as some forwards we had that decade, some great goals on that dvd from the likes of Cole,Santa Cruz,Bellamy and Jansen showing what a good Forward  player looks like.

As for this game Gyorkeres to get 2 in a 2-0 Cov win.Season over and the apologists to go with well nobody expected us to be this high up anyway.
