Well, let's just hope Big Dave can make it to the dugout for KO or we're fucked.
He's on his way to Stamford bridge to replace Fat Frank who's clueless

You're asking on here if the Champions League winner has made the right tactical call?
Hopefully Big Dave from MIll Hill ressies 1987-91 will be along shortly to give a detailed analysis. 🙂
Bobby Charlton won a world cup as a player but he was a shit manager.

Hindsight is a great thing, All loans are a risk, some you win, some you lose.
Boro got a player with scoring pedigree in the Championship while we picked a player who had scored a few in the league below but had failed in the Championship so sometimes you get what you pay for.

Archer was at Preston last season and they have no money so unless Villa have suddenly jacked up his loan fee this season Boro wont have paid more than we are for our loan duds.

The simple fact of the matter is, until our management can find a way to get back into matches when we fall behind, we will not go anywhere.
To my mind this is the third season in a row and counting that we can all pack up and go home once the opposition get the first goal.
Agree with this, you can go on about how well JDT has done with this squad but he's not shown me he can change a game when things aren't going our way, until he starts doing that then he's no better than any other manager we've had the last 10 years.

2 big blows there.Buckley out for the season and the fact than Morton will probably be the player taking his place in the team.

The appointed referee for this match is Tim Robinson who interestingly had us in the last round at Leicester where I thought he had a decent match. Perhaps even more interestingly there WILL be VAR. I can only assume it's being used as Sheffield have the set up from their PL days. That then begs the question why they didn't have it in the last round against Spurs or Burnley didn't have it against Fleetwood.
Just looked this up on the net, apparently all ties from the QF onwards get VAR,it came into effect last season.

Really, I’d have thought demotion to the next division down would be more appropriate.
If Kompany had any decency he'd be disgusted at what's gone on and would resign immediately

I have no idea what they've done but they're obviously cheating bastards, after consulting the league table a 40 point deduction is the least they should get

Just seen this on Twitter, some people on here must have been to it.It's a cold enough place on any day but Oldham on Boxing Day must have been freezing.

So we paid lawyers tens of thousands to come up with " but but but, we had a game to play on the same day, that isn't fair" what a joke, somebodies head should roll for this

its taken 30 years but now its time to payback the defeat in 1993

If we're on the Beeb in the next round i hope they don't get Danny Murphy on to talk about the wonderful 2 years he had with us stealing a wage

All games off at the same time in those days so he wouldn't have known what was going on elsewhere. Law was an all time great.
Not disputing that.i'm disputing you saying he scored the goal that got Man U relegated

Not celebrating against your old club is another sign of a bit of class. That all time great Denis Law scored the goal that relegated Manchester United in 1974 but didn't celebrate.
Its a myth that his goal relegated Man Utd,they needed Birningham to lose against Norwich to have a chance of staying up but Birmingham won so it didnt matter what happened at a Old Trafford

Only downside is potential injuries to Brereton and Dack, our top two scorers.
Someone said stick Ayala up top...we might not have much choice soon at this rate!
I hope this doesn't mean Vale will be back in the team on Tuesday,i'd rather play anybody up top than seeing him back

I do by and large, the problem is I'm reliant on this forum for my Rovers update today and most others. When things are great it's wonderful, now the tide has it's turned into Monty Python's argument clinic. T'was ever thus, see also the transfer threads.
We all want Rovers to win everygame, some people just get frustrated quicker than others do,i've learned to just take the good with the bad on here
