  1. garth crookes is a t**t,just had to get that out of my system!
  2. not particularly,it`s about being positive and actually trying to win a game
  3. you can imagine mowbray in the dressing room at moment, shaking and sweating like an alcy on the wagon, having withdrawals from this usual negativity
  4. stoke will definately be turning the results round, just hope it does`nt start this week
  5. excellent news, has tony had an awakening, just hope we keep up the same level as wednesday otherwise mowbray will relapse into his former self
  6. that how id`e line up,might be to progressive for mowbray in an away game though,it`s a bit disturbing we`ve no proper full backs, apart from nyambe and bell(if you can call him a full back)
  7. is`nt a good manager supposed to get the most out of average players, kenny turned atkins and wilcox into key players, clough was a master at turning rejects and derided players into good ones, all about man management imo, hughes got the max out of emerton and bentley,iv`e never seen mowbray get the best out of anybody tbh,he goes the opposite way and drags them down with rigid formations and plays them out of position,if you gave gallagher to a good man manager i can guarantee he`d look 3 times the player he does at the moment, admittedly he`s never going to break the scoring charts, but make the most out of him,get players round him who can benefit from knockdowns and use him at set pieces, ffs look at the size of him he should be terrorising defences from free kicks and corners
  8. i`de love to have mitrovic, cairney and semi ajayi(he terrorised us when he played for rotherham last year) now playing for west brom, just the type of defender we absolutely require
  9. the big question is,will tony revert to type with a tricky away game, got to play rothwell and armstrong out wide, britannia stadium is a big pitch and those two should surely find space,i was there last year when we nearly threw a 3-0 lead away, the first sign that all was not well on the mowbray front
  10. i wonder if saturdays awful showing led to a massive argument in the dressing room after the match, there were a few frought exchanges after the final whistle,i would`nt be surprised if a few influential older players had a showdown with mowbray and told him what was wrong
  11. i hope mowbray has now seen what a balanced side, with players in their rightful positions can do,this might be his epiphany, just worried about who will play up front on saturday, don`t think graham can do two games in a week, not sure how injured gallagher is,that leaves brereton, nothing against the lad,but iv`e never seen a profesional footballer look so lacking in everything or armstrong??
  12. great news,i hope bennett goes into a strop and puts in a transfer request?
  13. the lads would have to drop an e in his pre match cuppa for that to happen
  14. kind of get the idea if gallagher scored 20 goals a season(unlikely in the extreme i know) you`de still slate him,why not fire your ire at bennett, armstrong or "i don`t know where to stand on the pitch " nyambe,at the end of the day,it`s mowbray and his cracked idea of football thats to blame
  15. do you actually go to the games??,he`s been played up front once, against preston and hey presto he scored twice!!!!!!!!!!does that not tell you something
  16. lets put it concisely, gallagher is 6" 5,why would you put a player who looks like he should be playing in the back row for st helens on the wing,he should be wreaking havoc on centre backs with someone playing off him,it`s unfair to criticise him when mowbray continually makes him look bad with his godforsaken team selections
  17. well get dack closer to gallagher, play him in a free role just off the main striker, finding space and benefitting off the knockdowns,it`s all about having a positive outlook,id`e play with two wingers with two overlapping full backs, providing the wingers track back and cover whenever,we`ve got players to mind the shop while we`re going forward, the way we play at the moment is directionless, the lads don`t know their job and their all played out of position which renders us completely disjointed, you can`t tell me you enjoy watching mowbrays style of football??we can`t defend so what does he does,he has us defensive all the time
  18. he`s a centre forward, albeit a limited one, unless you put him up front with another striker he`s not going to show us anything,it`s a mystery as to why mowbray signed him because we all know the man is terrified of actually attacking, having signed brereton i can`t understand shelling out 5 million quid on him, bizarely we have a plethora of strikers but rely on long balls to a midget (armstrong)
  19. mowbrays rhetoric is the problem,he comes across as negative and tactically handicapped,if he speaks to the players like he does to the press then it`s no surprise they don`t put 100% in for him,i don`t like the sly digs in the media at some of the younger players either,i.e rothwell, chapman and travis,he never criticises bennett, who is one the squads weaker players
  20. thinly veiled excuse that rothwell is dropped and evans starts, can`t see him playing holtby either twice in a week, tony you are so predictable
  21. if we get through wednesday night without conceding i will personally run up livesey branch road naked?
  22. we`ve only got a problem in defence, elsewhere we are a half decent side, who should be in the top half comfortably walton-a definate downgrade on raya,no point keeping a goalie who gifts the opposite points bennett-makes a cock up every week, only in side cos he`s mowbrays favourite williams-weak as a kitten, bullied by the pne donkey c/f stockley, says it all tbh and terrible as a left back tosin-going to be a class player, will not be here next season nyambe-athletic full back but shocking positional awareness bell-this league beyond his level imo lenaghan-good header of a ball, combative leader, should be captain, injury prone
  23. bit optimistic innit!!!!any injuries to bennett or armstong and mowbray would end up walking barefoot along the m65 muttering about life not being worth it
