  1. a decent side would stretch this rotherham team all over the park and get in behind them, ffs all we do is pass it square in front of them
  2. two wide players and two strikers is a step to far for tony
  3. rothwell is sitting to deep, the best place for him is behind a main striker,if you can get him into the pocket behind he`d be lethal, kind of a poor mans peter beardsley
  4. jesus,i never in my life thought id`e want bell back in the side!!!!!!!
  5. **** me tell gallagher to stay up front,he`s a liability in his own half
  6. cmon rovers, nothing to beat here, get stuck in and hurt them
  7. pulled a muscle mowing tony`s front lawn apparently
  8. iv`e never seen this ability to be honest, anyone can look great in the reserves, all i see is a young lad out of place in the hurly burly of the championship
  9. i was`nt a happy bunny after this,5 of us travelled up to barnsley and the wonderfully decrepit oakwell, our expensive side was simply outplayed, remember seeing the team coach on the way back, kenny must have ripped into them and got them on the bus within half an hour, they all looked miserable and wegerle was sat on his own in the spare drivers seat looking sad,he must have taken most of kenny`s rage!!
  10. that midfield line up stinks like vindaloo on sunday morning, johnson is`nt fit, buckley is not big enough or good enough and rothwell is all over the place(not a bad thing but his runs forward will leave johnson exposed with buckley wandering around looking lost)quite what davenport has to do to get a game is a mystery,is he injured??
  11. i think he would have become one of the greatest strikers ever, when he had that extra burst pace he was the complete centre forward, that first injury took a yard off him, though he modified his game,he was`nt quite the fireball he was before, incidentally i always thought the sheff wed centre forward david hirst was equally as good as shearer but suffered even worse injuries and never fulfilled his potential,he would have been some player that lad
  12. rotherham are a big physical side, they`ll keep it tight and look for set pieces whenever they can,i can see us being overpowered tbh, midfield bypassed by long balls, williams scared to death and lenihan getting carried away with the battle and being sent off!!,they are the type of side that rovers get outmuscled by
  13. i first saw sherwood at the barnsley match a few weeks later and i was convinced kenny had signed someone off the street,he was so bad it was painful to watch, think he was hooked after 50 minutes, thankfully after that he was`nt seen for a few months and when when he did emerge there was a footballer after all🙂
  14. there is`nt that much wrong that a decent manager could`nt put right, thats the attraction for sure
  15. it`s all to cosy at brockhall and ewood, everyone content with their lot,no pressure on them imo,i certainly don`t see much hunger on the field.Thats why we lose to decent sides, they want it more than us,ok,you`ll see the flashy performances against the also rans but thats only because they have the same mindset as us,against teams out for promotion or teams who fight against possible relegation we are always second best because they want it more, simple as
  16. i agree,we could be bottom of the whole football league and he would`nt be sacked, the only way we are ridding ourselves of the mowbray yawnfest is he decides to retire, resign or bugger off somewhere else(highly unlikely as he`d likely be given the boot at any other club)
  17. after giving mowbray once last chance, thinking we`de turned the corner,he can now **** right off,iv`e had enough of him,the whole coaching set up needs a new ethos
  18. no plan B in attack. absolutely,if it is`nt going right within 20 minutes then we are basically f*****d
  19. i can honestly say apart from reading there has`nt been a team in the division i have been impressed with, they are all beatable, especially with our personal, the buck stops with the manager imo
  20. no doubt they will have dangerous players all over the pitch and a point will be an achievment,we are still building y`know
  21. at least we are warm at home, imagine having to walk back up livesey branch road in the cold after another afternoon of mowbrayness🙄
  22. lol,if you can`t see it you should`nt be watching football😁
  23. that lad elliot is going right to the top
  24. you could be a non league striker to get space in our box,all he did was wait for the inept defence to give him the chance
