  1. season over, start clearing the deadwood immediately, first thing monday morning,at least 7 of them should be called in to the managers office
  2. walton makes raya look like dino zoff
  3. ffs id`e sooner have 70 years terry gennoe in the nets than walton,i`ll drive him back to brighton if you want
  4. lets take the game to them now, come on,ffs do not sit back
  5. not nearly as bad as keans shambles or coyles mess, just the fact we are as weak as kittens and the bloody ball goes sideways and backwards all the time
  6. two seasons in and we still don`t know if jacob davenport is any good, ffs tony give him a half
  7. he likes a decent human does tony, does`nt matter if you`re **** at footy
  8. if we go into next season with this squad i`ll be very worried
  9. leeds are bigger and stronger,we just can`t compete or don`t want to
  10. tonys world has ended if it`s serious
  11. i don`t think anyone else understands it either, could`nt hack it at southend or rochdale then comes back and gets an extension?flucking crazy imo
  12. this is just the kind of fixture where we do really well, therefore giving us all hope,we`ll most likely get something today and vs west brom, then lose against luton, reading and millwall
  13. he`s still better than armstrong football brain wise, who stands still to much for my liking, considering he`s so mobile,he should be pulling defenders all over the place,as for the other two, where do i start??
  14. even with advanced age graham is still miles ahead of any striker on our books
  15. third biggest club in england??you`re not even a big as sheffield wednesday u muppet
  16. zurab was class,he`d stand out a mile from the current lot we`ve got,so much that he`d attract attention from promotion chasing clubs and we would`nt be able to hold on to him,he might have a few problems tuning in to the mowbray ethos though, not sure he`d appreciate being played out of position at left back?
  17. word from my mole at brockhall is that mowbray will definately call it a day after the final game,in his words "i cant get anything out of most of them,i tell them what to do on the training pitch and they do the opposite on match day",mrs m has also stopped making the famed lemon drizzle cake,as tony won`t agree to have an extension on their house,he`s been cutting a disillusioned figure in the last fortnight
  18. im`e probably in the minority who thought lambert was ok,imo he only quit because he thought he`d walk into the then available celtic job,im`e if he had stayed we would`nt be burdened with deadwood like bennett, bell etc
  19. according to my source, who i was talking to earlier, mowbray is a bit depressed and feels he`s had enough,he just wants to get back to the north east, apparently he was on about missing walking his greyhound on a misty morning, taking in the crisp air while relaxing on saturday afternoon in front of the telly,it`s only the fact that mrs mowbray wants an extension and a new conservatory that he`s carrying on for the time being
  20. bound to be goals,we usually play well twice a month, leeds attack and we can`t defend, goals a plenty!!!!!!!!!
  21. tell thee,we`ll win this one, put your cash on over 2 or 2.5 goals
  22. honestly think we`ll beat leeds, west brom and draw with cardiff, then lose the last three games of the season!!!!!be typical of us?
  23. mowbray would have said to douglas "you`re to flighty and play to far up the pitch, forget all that attacking stuff, similarly to clayton "sorry ronnie, you`re not developed enough to play in the first team, and you don`t listen to me enough"
  24. coyle did the simple thing, played gallagher as proper c/f and got crosses and service to him, nothing complicated, don`t want to praise him but it`s an illustration on why you should put players in their proper positions and make them aware of their jobs
