  1. in all honesty,i don`t think the players wanted the replays either ,the nasally ex dingle glen little made an excellent point on it today on radio lancs,if fleetwood had drawn at reading ,it`s the last thing a reading player would want, another away game, midweek in a freezing northern ground, the attendances for replays have also dropped off considerably ,sadly,it`s a sign of the times
  2. it`s not against league rules to change things when it`s not going your way, thats the difference between an astute manager and ours
  3. rhodes, gestede, cairney, armstrong,a wharton, szmodics and there must be others iv`e not listed, all brought in big fees, the manager gets **** all, always been the case with venkys, only one to tell them to stick their rotten job was lambert
  4. f****g bournemouth,a club with a non league ground and less fans than wigan athletic, look where they are and where we are🤬
  5. im`e sure cantwell would be more effective in the middle,we are wasting his ability out wide, because there is no one on his wavelength,in the centre he`d be the one making the runs and pulling defenders about
  6. the criticism of eustace is a case of not changing formation when it was clear sheff utd were having it to easy,at the very least make them work for it,i thought his team shape and preparation were poor today,it looked like no one had any game plan or idea of what they were doing
  7. we might see a full on pep tantrum about to many games if bournemouth can see it through🤣
  8. i expect him to be off to a team in the top six in january, carter would have been sold as well but for his injury, after that the cupboard is bare and the brown stuff may well hit the fan,is a brainless way of running a club, you can`t rely on bringing in millions by selling players every year, the best way to bring in money is by trying to be succesfull
  9. can anyone explain the insane tactic of not leaving anyone up when we have to defend a set piece, the bloody ball comes right back at us,cantwell.dolan and yoshi are more a hinderance when it comes to defending, leave one on the centre circ;le and another in midfield, the other side will have to bring 4 back and we`ll have an outball.it`s basic common sense imo
  10. after his hamstring injury he`s lost his pace, his one best attribute, now he`s just a passenger imo who can`t get up and down the flanks anymore
  11. current worst jobs on earth front line ukranian soldier vladimir putins political opponent sellafield nuclear waste clean up operative centre forward for blackburn rovers for the first time this season we looked disorganised and lacking in purpose, credit to sheff utd, they are extremely well drilled and every man knew his job,im`e confused as to what eustace was really trying to do,if you are going to try and defend then at least attempt to hurt the other side by going on the counter,i did`nt see anything that looked likely to produce a chance and felt sorry for yoshi, who did an admirable job with no support,as it stands,i doubt even a top class centre forward would score many in our side after 14 years of indian occupation ,the pain of getting outthought and out muscled does`nt really bother me anymore, like the old martial arts experts who used to smash their legs against a tree, after so long you don`t feel anything
  12. about to set off to our holy shrine of ewood, had it on good authority that gueye is finishing like romario in training and will definately bang a couple in today, eustace took the drastic action of calling in a hypnotist and now big mak is a different person, very focused and intent on scoring
  13. send buckley up there🙂
  14. i like that formatation or play one striker with siggy or cantwell playing behind in a 4/4/1/1 unfortunately for lovers of attacking football, eustace is very pragmatic and will try to stop us losing rather than go out and attack, not that we can complain to much,we are 6th in the table
  15. id`e forgot about that,we had the useless lump poveda in the treatment room for months
  16. i`de send him back to brighton, out for another 3/4 weeks then another 3/4 games to get match fit,he is`nt going to be available until january, write this one off and try to get another loan in,am i right in assuming you can still loan players in when the transfer window is shut???
  17. not expecting any outgoings in january, there is no one left to sell of any value🙂,carter the last asset worth anything and he`s out until the middle of january
  18. lots of pressure to play every week and players scared of losing their place as well,it`s not good though to keep pumping a young lad full of painkillers and cortisone ,i hope adam does`nt break down completely
  19. so no point in competing for a trophy and giving the fans a trip to wembley then?????
  20. yes i agree wholeheartedly but it`s not much use if you can`t run after the ball
  21. no idea what the new aberdeen manager thellin has been putting in the water up there but aberdeen are playing absolutely brilliant stuff, currently 1-0 up on rangers and just missed a penalty (after another bizarre var decision) 14 straight wins if they can beat rangers tonight, aberdeen for the spl title 😁
  22. imo it`s terrible management to make him play twice a week with a groin injury,if he`s not carefull he`s going to end completely ****** up and lose all his natural speed, groin and hamstring injuries are renown for being tricky to treat and take careful handling
  23. i suspect at the moment eustace is quite content to just have a job with no pressure,he`ll run his contract down here, leaving with a good reputation and he`ll get a better job at a club that actually wants to build something
  24. i don`t usually worry about the opposition, but kiefer moore against hyam in the air is quite concerning,we all know what a marde arse hyam is and moore is a massive threat ariel wise, other than that im`e quite confident we can match them, hopefully with a big crowd to get behind the lads (hopeful being the operative word!!!!)
  25. can`t argue with that,he was excellent, when his groin injury gets sorted,he won`t be at palace much longer
