  1. I always remember Watford coming to Ewood under Graham Taylor in the late 70s early 80s. The days of Nigel Callaghan and possibly John Barnes. I remember them being very good. That's it! Rovers 1 Watford 2
  2. So what is it now? We'll stick with a a third otherwise.
  3. Savills UK | The value of land So, if GDV (see link above) is £132.5m then the value of the land for sale is a third of that - about £43m in Venky's pocket.
  4. Is land value based on potential revenue from the sale of houses built on it? If so then the £20m plucked out of the air by Nixon will be well wide of the mark.
  5. Could you link it on here if it ever becomes active. Cheers.
  6. I remember that name Baah, blast from the past! What did he do to provoke Speedie's ire?
  7. As others have said, once that land is gone, it's gone forever. And once the covenants are removed it makes it easier to eventually sell the rest...especially if the new state-of-the-art TC never comes to fruition. I told my 80 year old dad about it yesterday. He's still an ST holder, been going since the 1950's. He's not an emotional man but i could hear the sadness in his voice when he said 'they aren't respecting Jack's wishes'. For some people, legacy, history, tradition etc mean an awful lot. It's about respect.
  8. I may have dreamt it but is there not a picture somewhere of Kenny on someone shoulders putting the nets up at Pleasington pre-Brockhall?
  9. The opposite of what Jack's legacy bequeathed to us.
  10. You're first post was supportive of the project. Questioned less than an hour later about the detail and you are sketchy to say the least, and have nothing positive to say. Forgive my scepticism.
  11. So you either don't know what is going to happen, or you think the changes are '100% a bad thing'. Strange, considering your first post on the subject started with the post I quoted above it. Bit of a disconnect there.
  12. ???????????? For someone who gets upset easily you're very antagonistic.
  13. I was playing you at your own game. You missed the irony. Oh well.
  14. That's a massive red flag to me. Sickening to read during a pandemic when millions are losing their jobs.
  15. Sorry, I meant club sponsor, who is happy for Rovers employees to lose their jobs? That better?
  16. Club sponsor supports club initiative. That's the post I deleted to stop you getting upset. It's hardly earth shattering, it's a statement of fact. It certainly doesn't attack your 'person' or 'integrity'. Get over yourself. The fact you are now trying to take the moral high ground speaks volumes. Desperate. I'm just happy not to be a Venky shill, and happy not to wish job losses on people.
