When I hear a shirt explained as "quartered", I always think of a Bristol Rovers shirt or a Wycombe Wanderers shirt. Not suggesting that this is the correct description of quartered but its just where my personal brain logic goes.

With the side of the blue half being alternated from shirt to shirt?

I was staying in Camden for a long weekend a few weeks ago and I got talking to this bloke in a pub. When we'd talked about football and which teams we support he mentioned that his mate from Eton is currently very excited because hes a goalkeeper for Old Etonians and he never thought he be able to play on a pitch like Ewood Park and against players like Pedersen so I'm happy that these lads will get this experience too. It's a long way to come from after all.

Maybe it's a baggy shirt.

I noticed that the dingles were at home with the same kick off time as us on Saturday. They are only 14 miles away and managed to keep the pitch in a playable condition. Was it particularly worse in our section of Lancashire or do we think it was consistent throughout and our draining system isn't good enough?

Is this a role that is commonly found at football clubs? I've never come across this before.

For me it was 5 times too many. Thought that kit was hideous but I do accept that it was designed for the younger ones. Saw more kids wearing that one than adults personally. Also I was at Plymouth so I'm surprised I didn't remember that one. Wasn't a good performance so I probably wiped it from my memory.

I remember being at Luton while they wore the pink kit. Can't think of any other times but it's probably because I wasn't actually at the matches when they wore it.

The cynic in me still thinks they still won't support Rovers.

I've mixed with the Accy fans before for this friendly but whenever I've gone to Stanley as a neutral I see people wearing Rovers and Dingle gear with the home fans. A lot of people to watch Stanley as their 2nd team in all honesty. These days I'd say that fans that turn up to Ewood are from the surrounding towns of Blackburn like Darwen or Accy rather than the town itself.

Before they played in green they played in blue and white horizontal halves and they called themselves 'Burnley Rovers'. They blatantly copied of Blackburn Rovers and as your correctly pointed, they blatantly copied Aston Villa because they were the successful team at the time. Their results started to improve under the Aston Villa kit scheme so they kept it and then had the audacity to call themselves 'THE Clarets'.

Got a few theories as to how this kit release is going to go. Quite a lot of people are grateful for the early release, but I think this was part of the plan as they decided to pull their finger out to help get more sales. Get the home kit released early, gives more time to separate between that one and the away kit and the third kit. I am expecting the third one to be more of alt home shirt with a retro design. Could possibly wear it for the home match closest to the 5th November but if they get the home shirt sales in first, then released the retro shirt, they can get two or even three shirts sold for some fans. Thoughts anyone?

I really like the shirt and I think I'll be buying one for the first time in a few seasons. I just hope they have another, more retro, shirt that they wear for the home match closest to the 150th anniversary date. Would probably get that one too tbf.

I believe Macron are the ones responsible for the 150th anniversary shirt for Reading FC and that one was very popular with their fans. Macron definitely have it in them to do a good job of this, it just depends on what the club allows them to do.

Mine was Blackburn Rovers Vs QPR, 26th November 1994 in the premier league. Shearer hat-trick in a 4-0 win. On a side note my first time attending an England match was a 5-0 win for England with a Kane hat-trick

We need a 2/3 outcome scenario. Odds are against us of course but if we don't win our match, all of it is irrelevant anyway. Bristol City to draw or lose Coventry City to draw or lose Millwall to draw or lose I have a feeling that 2 of those 3 will play out but we fail to beat Sheffield United. Middlesbrough could sneak in the back door.

I normally go to 1 or 2 away games a season but that was my first win at an away match since Feb 2020. Felt good on the coach back this time for a change.

I'm thinking if they do that ticket credit thing again but for the start of the season I'd be tempted. I'm sick of the midweek games and KO time changes.

Blackburn Roverseas has a user on this forum. Would be nice if he made a comment on this thread. I understand if he'd prefer to keep his info on this vlogs though.
