  1. Not Likely for Cardiff to be in trouble this season. Derby already have their 21 points deduction and Reading are very likely to have 12 points deducted too. Leek eaters are lucky. They have had an awful season so far but may survive anyway due to two other teams having deductions.
  2. I was at the Wembley on Friday. Noticed an England flag with a Rovers logo on it hung up near a corner flag (The one to the right Pickford in the first half). Anyone on here responsible for it? Made a nice change to not see a Dingle one to be honest.
  3. Swearing doesn't bother me. It's just a word. It's the intent that bothers me. You can say something just as hurtful to someone with a non swear word if the intent is aggressive.
  4. Didn't Lomana LuaLua injure himself doing a flip celebration for Portsmouth? I like to see the athleticism but yeah it isn't worth it if it means it could lead to an injury.
  5. I remember seeing Alex Scott saying “Low Block” while doing punditry and Graham Souness challenged her on it. In the end, after it was explained he said “ahh right, defending deep then…”
  6. Is Tony Parks in Pendle Brook care home on ossy? Could have sworn it was him the last time I looked up at the window.
  7. I can relate. I was a large before covid. Need to have XL so the footy tops don’t shape round my belly and moobs.
  8. Yeah fair enough I understand those points. When I think about it like that I wonder why I pay the money but when it gets released I just think “I want it!” And pay for it regardless. Victim of the marketing campaign I guess. Thanks for your response.
  9. Please can you explain your opinion of why you don't understand why adults buy the replica shirts? Personally, I don't see a problem with it and if I want it, I'll buy it. I'm not going to stop myself from buying and wearing one if it goes against some social norm. I just like to feel apart of the club and wearing the shirt achieves that for me. I won't be buying the upcoming shirt release however as I think Macron are an awful kit manufacturer. Looking forward to your opinion though.
  10. I got what you were trying to do. Thought it was funny tbh.
  11. As my dad always used to say “I’d rather have points on the board than games in hand.” For the most part I‘ve noticed that tends to be the most beneficial scenario. I think we will be safe and the boring Yorkshire club goes down.
  12. Seen Kazim-Richards say hes well up for the game against Blackburn given how much help a win would do for them. However, I've also seen some cynical Derby fans responding with comments like "You better be ready this time" and "You've said that before"
  13. A game with few chances and action that was decided by a penalty. I don’t like the direction football is going. The penalty that was given was one where the player was playing for it. The ones that weren’t given was where the players weren’t playing for a penalty. Too many penalties been given in football nowadays and the players are playing for the penalties as a tactic to win the game more and more.
  14. A ref being shit doesn’t bother me too much as long as he’s consistent. This one is as consistent as a foster home.
  15. When you say 'GOAT', do you mean 'Greatest Of All Time'?
  16. If Wilder ends up leaving Sheffield United, would he be a viable option?
  17. I don’t think we are in threat of relegation. We are 10 points off the top 6 and everyone is saying the play off is out of the picture and at the same time we are 10 points off the bottom 3 and people are thinking we are relation threatened. Generally speaking the teams at the top win more than the teams at the bottom so I’d say relegation is not on the cards for the rest of the season.
  18. I don't understand how you can say I'm dismissive of the whole idea of dismissing Mowbray when I said we should get a new manager if we don't make top 6. That's not being dismissive of the whole idea, more of middle point. I don't think we will make the top 6 but I can be proven wrong. I'm not content to be relegated, I just know we won't be relegated this season. We have too many points on the board and we would have to lose every game for the rest of the season. If he got sacked today I wouldn't be upset about it, I'd be more concerned about how these people pulling the strings would recruit the next manager.
  19. No you’ve either not seen or chosen to ignore my previous posts where I say things like I understand your viewpoint etc. So we’ve lost 3 in a row and are playing like crap. Yeah that is relegation form but we could hit good form again in the next game. Things can change quickly in football. I’m being optimistic but I want want to give him the the end of the season. If we are not in the top 6 at the end of the season I’m completely on board with a managerial change.
  20. Yeah your entitled to look at it from that viewpoint. I don’t personally but that’s the whole point of this message board. Having healthy discussions about the club. Be boring if everyone had the same opinions and fell in line to the ones who deem themselves to be superior and can’t accept any opinion than their own.
  21. Well it’s not a coincidence that you were trying to be belittling in that comment.
  22. You don't have to agree with me (I’m certain you won’t), but I’ll always respect him from preventing the club from being in a way worse situation than it is now. That’s why I think he’s owed the remainder of the season. Can’t help but be grateful for what he’s done for us. If your someone that just wants what’s best for the club with no sentiment then I understand why you would want the immediate change. I’d prefer to be more respectful but that’s just me.
