  1. No. It's 5% of the total transfer fee. I've checked a few places and they state the same thing.
  2. Birmingham City could get £5m+ if Jude Bellingham goes to Real Madrid, reportedly for a fee in excess of €100m (article here). They're due 5% of the total transfer fee if he is sold.
  3. Season Ticket Estimate Latest: 8,069 (-11) It looks like a couple of blocks may have had some non-renewers removed, although there's no way of telling. Notes: The estimate is based upon the total number of saleable seats to home supporters (18,210), minus the amount of unavailable (sold) seats. (+xx) represents the difference in season ticket sales from the previous estimate (usually 24 hours). 159 seats in block W01 are marked as unavailable (sold), but are not saleable due to being cordoned-off. These are therefore excluded from the season ticket estimate. 376 seats for supporters requiring ground-level font-row access are marked as unavailable (sold), but appear to be block-reserved rather than fully sold. These are therefore excluded from the season ticket estimate. A seat is marked as unavailable for up to 28 minutes when added to the basket. It is not possible to exclude these from the estimate.

  5. I read that this summer's Super Saver was £20 cheaper than last summer. Given that the numbers exceeded the club's target, you'd think that should tell him something.
  6. I can do better than that, just for you, my dear chadster. Here's each block from this morning's count (the highlighted column is the estimate for each block):
  7. The numbers are just what I'm being shown with all the usual caveats and deductions I knew about last summer which appear to be the same. I can never claim that this is an accurate count, because I could easily make some wrong assumptions, but there could be a number of explanations as to why we sold 750 or so in the space of two weeks. There is never any visibility of the renewal rate. During the "save your seat" period, they are always blocked-out, and there is no telling how many have or haven't been sold, and therefore no indication of an average renewal rate per day. The renewal rate will no doubt be far higher than the rate of new season ticket holders, so if we were averaging something like 10 new season ticket holders per day since the Super Saver period ended (which is roughly what I was able to see, give or take a caveat), it's not far-fetched to expect the renewal rate to be something like 40 per day. I think the signing of Ennis is an early indicator that this transfer window might be the most promising (or normal) for a long time. I think some supporters might have been waiting for a signal such as this to buy or renew. They might have even been waiting for the speculation surrounding Tomasson to die down. I still think the Super Saver period may have caught a lot out with it finishing almost a month ago. If you haven't got the money in your account to renew by the Super Saver deadline, then you probably just have to bite the bullet on £50 or whatever the difference is, and do it later when you're ready. I'm sure June's payday gave a bump to renewals. The seat map was down for just shy of six days in total. I'm sure it affected sales, but if you're renewing and keeping the same seat, you don't necessarily need the seat map to pick and choose. ( @chaddyrovers, this might answer your query ) The positive is that maybe those who were waiting for the seat map to come back, rather than phone up, might now buy. I don't really know. I'm just speculating.
  8. The seat map is back. The non-renewed seats appear to be available for purchase. I've checked these numbers three times. This is what I have as the first count. Season Ticket Estimate Latest: 8,036 Notes The estimate is based upon the total number of saleable seats to home supporters (18,210), minus the amount of unavailable (sold) seats. 159 seats in block W01 are marked as unavailable (sold), but are not saleable due to being cordoned-off. 9. He will, but I doubt his next gig will be in England. Lots of money to be had in the US or Middle East as they don't bother with anything beyond a big name.
  10. Online season ticket sales have now been unavailable for five days. What's going on? 🤷‍♂️
  11. My worry with the Corberan link to Leeds United is that, if they get him, I can imagine West Bromwich Albion would be tempted by Tomasson. In an ideal world, Rovers would extend Tomasson's contract for another year or two. It's a risk, but that's football, and I think the uncertainty surrounding Tomasson is going to be damaging if this drags on for another month or two. Give the man a new contract and let's move forward without the speculation.
  12. The better team won. I wanted United to win because I'm a bit bored of seeing City paste the domestic competitions. I hated United in the 90s, but we're in a different era, and I find City so sterile and soulless. I've also worked with a number of their fans during my days in Manchester, and they are miserable buggers, all of them. So much so that the United fans I worked with were far more joyful. And this is during City's rise to dominance! Having said that, I'd like City to beat Inter on Saturday. National loyalties come into play for that one.
  13. Means-test the season ticket prices based on your income. Just a badly-thought idea I had that wouldn't ever happen for many reasons I imagine!
  14. I don't know what figures Waggott is basing all this on. At the end of the day, it's tiny margins that he's pinching at. No matter. We'll get the straight-forward figures without massaged numbers when they turn the fucking seat map back on. Half of me thinks they've turned it off deliberately because they don't want anyone to see how bad it is. It might be my fault. Steve... STEVE... spreadsheet is deleted now, you can turn it back on!
  15. I think there is some odd wording going on here: There is some weird wording and numbers going on here. Waggott is saying that having 7,300 season ticket holders is like a renewal rate of 82%. (7,300 out of 8,600 or so). The actual renewal rate, assuming there are some new season ticket holders, will be considerably lower than 82%. And that leads me onto this: If 859 supporters haven't renewed, but the other 7,500 have, than how can we have 7,300 ticket sales to date? Of the 540, that will include the half-season ticket holders from last season. They aren't just new season ticket holders. Crafty and confusing wording going on. Lastly, a target of 6,500 season tickets to be sold during the bonanza period for a club vying for promotion is pathetic. Waggott needs to go, and/or the owners need their ears bending. It's embarrassing.
  16. I'm glad Sevilla won. It started for me when Rakitić went to take a corner early on, and Roma supporters were chucking coins at him. Stupidity. Mourinho is a dick head for throwing verbal insults at Anthony Taylor in the car park after the game, and it no doubt sparked Roma fans to abuse Taylor and his family at the airport. Morons all around. Mourinho the biggest of them. Taylor had a bad night, but doesn't deserve what that lot threw his way. It was a horrible game full of antics, but the better team won in the end.
  17. Maybe they've got some beef with me. Maybe they'll release them on Fryday.
  18. You'd think the club aren't aware that my spreadsheet is waiting to bear the good news. 😩
  19. Now that's how you write a great letter to the supporters and then put it in the shredder!
  20. Can't see Cardiff City making a big name appointment. It'll be a cheap one.
  21. While I'm here, Karim Benzema is likely to move to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia for a €400m contract. 🤯
  22. Heated game so far. Bound to be a red card if they both carry on like this.
