  1. After earlier speculation, Kompany has just signed a new 5 year contract with B***ley - he seems to have really bought into being a dingle. It'd probably take a City or Belgium to prise him away at this point.
  2. Agreed, we have no chance - he's literally theirs if they want him i'd say. Apparently Ruud left PSV due to a lack of support... in that case, the last thing he'd do is come here!
  3. JDT will be gone if Feyenoord want him - wouldn't blame him either, the move makes perfect sense; - he's a bit of a Feyenoord legend, and their 4th highest ever goal scorer. - his family live in Holland. - they're the Dutch Champions playing in the Champions League. - it's a direct route to getting a big PL move, as Arne Slot has shown. All of that is before we factor in the shambles he's had to put up with here! On the bright side, he may not actually be their preferred option - doesn't look like he's the only manager on their list.
  4. Millwall weren't great in the reverse fixture at Ewood - i'm not too concerned about playing them tbh! I think we can, and will, beat them. But with our luck lately, it feels like it's written in the stars that we're gonna get beaten to it in some sort of unjust way. It'll be Sunderland with a 93rd minute deflected winner or something, the Lemon Drizzle eating dinosaur will be at maximum smug-ness. WBA will then draw, to rub more salt into the wound. Millwall 0-2 Rovers PNE 1-2 Sunderland Swansea 1-1 WBA
  5. Will be classic Rovers when we go on to win this and the Millwall game, only to miss out on playoffs via goal difference. 2-0 Rovers 👍
  6. Yeah both have ~5000 lower and ~3200 upper
  7. 16k seats taken by home fans as per the ticket map, 2k away - plus i'd assume the 12pm cut-off also means no walk-ins are allowed. Could be around 18k tonight, providing the ST holders show up.
  8. There would be way more tickets sold right now if it wasn't for the booking requirements, which were rightly put in place to prevent the dingles from filling the home stands. I bet there have been a good number of Rovers fans unable to purchase tickets, due to not having booked enough games on their account. Btw does anyone know what the booking requirement is exactly? 3 games? 5 games? Perhaps we could shorten that now... maybe allowing people to book if they purchased tickets 1/2 times in 2022, for example.
  9. Also wouldn't mind our Sammie bagging then giving one of these to the dingles in the first half;
  10. The results may not back it up, but we've been playing some decent football recently... if it wasn't for questionable subs and some absolutely rotten luck, we'd have play-offs secured right now. I think we do have the ability to outplay and beat the dingles for sure... but we do we have the mentality? Burnley certainly do, we on the other hand are capable of absolutely bottling it at the worst of times. Sadly, I think that will be the difference tomorrow. I don't think we'll be embarrassed like earlier in the season at the Turd, but I can't see us winning. I'll be there either way, please prove me wrong Rovers - just get stuck into the inbred b*****ds!
  11. From the Ticket Map, around 14,800 so far in the JW, Riverside and BBE Lower. Would have been way more without the ordering requirements, then again the home stands would have been full of dingles no doubt.
  12. Looks like we've sold out our allocation for this one 👏 COYB
  13. Last night hurt like hell... 1 minute away from pure joy, for it to be snatched away. My walk back to the Car was one of the worst in a while! On the other hand, we were good for the majority of the match - defended well, were mostly in control, created decent chances, and didn't really look under too much pressure until the late changes. Against Coventry too mind, currently one of the better sides around the play-offs. If last nights knocks aren't too serious and we're able to field the same (or a very similar) team, then we can beat the Nobbers. Adam Wharton must start, i'd also stick Kaminski back in... and Diaz simply shouldn't be anywhere near that starting XI. There's still some hope, we're somehow still in the top 6 - but wow we should be so much more comfortable right now, we should be 6 points better off from our last 3 games.
  14. Odd bunch those lot at Aberdeen - i've seen a few comments about Markanday along the lines of "He can't be very good, he's even behind Ryan Hedges in the pecking order at Blackburn". Ryan Hedges was their best player by a distance when they had him 🤣
  15. As per the ticket map, just over 12k tickets have been taken for tonight's match (in the JW, BBE Lower, and Riverside stands). Bad, given the importance of this game... but we might still get a reasonably good turnout with a fair number of walk-ins and away fans. If we add around 2k walk-ins and 3k Coventry fans, we could reach around 17k. Could easily have been 20k+ if this was the £10 game, as mentioned by others!
  16. I keep fluctuating - one day I feel like we have absolutely no chance, the next I can be full of hope. If we can maintain the same level of aggression and determination that we displayed in the second half against Hudds throughout the rest of our remaining games, and keep creating chances (54 shots in our last 3 games) then I think we've a decent chance. There's certainly a team in there, with a few minor refinements I guess we could make the play-offs. What do you think?
  17. Would like to see us go with this; Time for Kami to come back in, and Scotty in for Carter who's dipped a bit lately. Would like to see Leonard start too, a fearless and hungry natural striker is exactly what this squad has been missing for a while. I'm not very confident for this game though tbh - getting a 'final nail in the coffin' feeling, for some reason. Feeling like it could be a 0-1 Hull. Hope that isn't the case though of course, come on Rovers!
  18. Got a good feeling watching Leonard yesterday. He looks like he can be a real handful, good movement and good positioning - a hunger for goals just oozes out of him. It's clear that he's a natural striker and goal scorer, and that's literally all we've been missing. He may be young and inexperienced, but a fearless youngster looking to make a statement can't be a bad thing for this side. Whatever the case, i'd feel more confident with him in front of goal than I would Gally or Vale - hope he starts against Hull!
  19. From the Ticket Map, i've found that there are now ~15k seats taken in the home stands. Apparently Norwich are bringing 2k... so we're already at around 17k! 20k might be a bit of a push - but with further online sales and walk-ins i'm sure we'll surpass 18k.
  20. I've found (via the Ticket map on the site) that ~14'200 home seats are taken at present for this one - between the JW, Riverside and BBE Lower. With more online sales in the next couple of days, walk-ins and away fans - we could be looking at a decent attendance.
  21. Potentially good news for us - since they have games with Luton, Coventry and PNE before the season ends. Hopefully this can fire them up enough to grind a couple of results in those games. Highly unlikely though... they're absolutely shite these days.
  22. Agreed. Need all 6 IMO, much tougher games coming up than these next 2.
  23. I'd go with this personally. Dacky up top, but have him and Szmodics quite fluid and switching when it suits. Have Szmods further up when out of possession, utilising his high energy and pressing. Then have Dacky in and around the box as much as possible when on the front foot. In any case, i'd feel way more comfortable with either of Dack/Smodz in a 1v1 than I would Gally, he just can't be relied on for goals at this stage. Would start Sorba too, we can't play him next Monday so it's worth keeping Hedges fit and ready for that game with Hudds. Besides, Sorba has been decent for the most part - let's give him the benefit of the doubt! He makes a big difference when he's playing well. Adam Wharton for Morton too, because i'd honestly rather JDT field himself than see Morton out there again - the lad has good potential but he's holding us back right now. Wharton is clearly better anyway, we need to get his 'situation' resolved pronto - we've a potential future England player there ffs! Praying for +3 in this game, COYB
