  1. Was thinking this, maybe Mark Travers, Fraser Forster or Ethan Horvath could be tempted for 6 months - they aren't playing much atm.
  2. Think at the very least we need... A keeper, a CB, full-back cover, a right-winger and a senior striker - all whilst not having a pot to piss in, lovely 😶
  3. Sarmiento has been recalled from his loan at WBA - wouldn’t complain if we brought him here for 6 months.
  4. Let's put things into perspective here... Arnor Sigurdsson is an Icelandic international , who has Champions League experience and scored against Real Madrid - he's only 24, probably nowhere near his peak yet and has huge sell-on potential. We, Blackburn Rovers, play in the Championship. We hardly have a pot to piss in, and have some of the worst owners in the country. If manage to sign him permanently, for FREE... that is an unbelievable bit of business.
  5. This has 0-2 Leeds written all over it - we're very stretched and missing too many key players for a game like this. Travis will be back in the mix after his suspension which is good, hopefully we get a few more players back soon enough! Elliott Jackson posted an injury list ~3 weeks ago, with the following possible return dates for those injured (at the time); Aynsley Pears - End of November Dominic Hyam - December Sam Gallagher - December Joe Rankin-Costello - February Ryan Hedges - February Sam Barnes - Unknown Since then we've also had the following injuries; Tyrhys Dolan - should be back around February Niall Ennis - small knock, back soon? Arnór Sigurðsson - small knock, back soon? With a bit of luck, the likes of Pears, Hyam, Gallagher, Ennis and Siggy will be back on the grass soon and ready in a week or two 🤞
  6. Phil Jones on a 1 month contract anyone? 😄
  7. Not very confident for this one, feel like we're gonna get slapped up a bit tbh! 3-1 Watford 🙁
  8. Nice - I was literally about to post that exact line-up 👌 Regarding the game... Hull aren't a bad side, but we should be beating them. Do I think we actually will go and beat them? No. Do I think they'll beat us? No. I'm gonna predict a bit of a stinker here, 0-0!
  9. I imagine JDT will play the same team as against WBA. Think it'll be a bit of a slog to begin with, but we'll eventually settle into the game and have too much quality for them. 2-0 Rovers - Szmodics and Leonard to score.
  10. After January, Greg will be hungry for redemption. With that in mind - I feel like he'll be working hard to get 1 or 2 signings done and dusted, ready to be announced as soon as the window opens.
  11. Lol - I'd honestly be there in a heartbeat 😂
  12. Who said this? 😂 I'm struggling to imagine how the wife of a multi-millionaire footballing legend, aspires to ask Lancastrians if they want any fish 😂
  13. After earlier speculation, Kompany has just signed a new 5 year contract with B***ley - he seems to have really bought into being a dingle. It'd probably take a City or Belgium to prise him away at this point.
  14. Agreed, we have no chance - he's literally theirs if they want him i'd say. Apparently Ruud left PSV due to a lack of support... in that case, the last thing he'd do is come here!
  15. JDT will be gone if Feyenoord want him - wouldn't blame him either, the move makes perfect sense; - he's a bit of a Feyenoord legend, and their 4th highest ever goal scorer. - his family live in Holland. - they're the Dutch Champions playing in the Champions League. - it's a direct route to getting a big PL move, as Arne Slot has shown. All of that is before we factor in the shambles he's had to put up with here! On the bright side, he may not actually be their preferred option - doesn't look like he's the only manager on their list.
  16. Millwall weren't great in the reverse fixture at Ewood - i'm not too concerned about playing them tbh! I think we can, and will, beat them. But with our luck lately, it feels like it's written in the stars that we're gonna get beaten to it in some sort of unjust way. It'll be Sunderland with a 93rd minute deflected winner or something, the Lemon Drizzle eating dinosaur will be at maximum smug-ness. WBA will then draw, to rub more salt into the wound. Millwall 0-2 Rovers PNE 1-2 Sunderland Swansea 1-1 WBA
  17. Will be classic Rovers when we go on to win this and the Millwall game, only to miss out on playoffs via goal difference. 2-0 Rovers 👍
  18. Yeah both have ~5000 lower and ~3200 upper
  19. 16k seats taken by home fans as per the ticket map, 2k away - plus i'd assume the 12pm cut-off also means no walk-ins are allowed. Could be around 18k tonight, providing the ST holders show up.
  20. There would be way more tickets sold right now if it wasn't for the booking requirements, which were rightly put in place to prevent the dingles from filling the home stands. I bet there have been a good number of Rovers fans unable to purchase tickets, due to not having booked enough games on their account. Btw does anyone know what the booking requirement is exactly? 3 games? 5 games? Perhaps we could shorten that now... maybe allowing people to book if they purchased tickets 1/2 times in 2022, for example.
  21. Also wouldn't mind our Sammie bagging then giving one of these to the dingles in the first half;
  22. The results may not back it up, but we've been playing some decent football recently... if it wasn't for questionable subs and some absolutely rotten luck, we'd have play-offs secured right now. I think we do have the ability to outplay and beat the dingles for sure... but we do we have the mentality? Burnley certainly do, we on the other hand are capable of absolutely bottling it at the worst of times. Sadly, I think that will be the difference tomorrow. I don't think we'll be embarrassed like earlier in the season at the Turd, but I can't see us winning. I'll be there either way, please prove me wrong Rovers - just get stuck into the inbred b*****ds!
  23. From the Ticket Map, around 14,800 so far in the JW, Riverside and BBE Lower. Would have been way more without the ordering requirements, then again the home stands would have been full of dingles no doubt.
  24. Looks like we've sold out our allocation for this one 👏 COYB
  25. Last night hurt like hell... 1 minute away from pure joy, for it to be snatched away. My walk back to the Car was one of the worst in a while! On the other hand, we were good for the majority of the match - defended well, were mostly in control, created decent chances, and didn't really look under too much pressure until the late changes. Against Coventry too mind, currently one of the better sides around the play-offs. If last nights knocks aren't too serious and we're able to field the same (or a very similar) team, then we can beat the Nobbers. Adam Wharton must start, i'd also stick Kaminski back in... and Diaz simply shouldn't be anywhere near that starting XI. There's still some hope, we're somehow still in the top 6 - but wow we should be so much more comfortable right now, we should be 6 points better off from our last 3 games.
