  1. Shocking signing, bottom of the barrell. Yet after thinking about it, I can only assume that; - It's been done very cheap. - He's happy to be backup - behind all of Hyam, Wharton and Carter.
  2. How much would Basel want for Liam Millar on a permanent do we think? He's quality. Very unlikely, but how hilarious would it be if he had to terminate his loan with PNE early to come and sign for us 😄
  3. Just seen that Louie Sibley and Max Bird both have contracts expiring at the end of the season, seems like a no-brainer to try and nab one of these (preferably Max) on the cheap after selling Adam?
  4. Yup, wouldn't surprise me at all to see us make the most underwhelming signing of all time, straight after selling the best talent that's ever come through our Academy for a record fee...
  5. I keep seeing links to Kyle McFadzean... I swear if we bring him in, at 36 years old, right after selling Adam... then I give up!
  6. If Duncan McGuire ended up going to Wednesday, there'd be outrage. People would be saying we've missed out on the next big thing. Now that it looks like we've won the race, he's suddenly the next George Hirst. Bloody hell... if we sign him, just get behind the lad 👍
  7. This is my hope. I feel pretty sure that Adam is going to be sold today, so we have money now. I can only assume that we had "dream" targets on a list, that we couldn't afford - but with the Wharton money coming in...
  8. Agreed. If there's at least a 20% sell-on included, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take the £18m + £4m in add-ons.
  9. Gallagher did well last night, but I can't ignore how many times i've rooted for him and ended up disappointed. Yeah, he runs a lot and puts in effort... but his touch is shite, he's bad in the air, can't hold the ball up well and just doesn't have that natural striker's instinct. It's rare he pulls off a performance better than a 6/10. We've had years worth of proof that he doesn't get you goals at this level, and you need goals from a number 9. It's no coincidence, that he suddenly looks good, and it just so happens to be against League 2 opposition. He'll probably get injured again in a few weeks... so take the £2m, free up his wages and buy the yank I say.
  10. Update; JW Stand - 5,594 BBE Lower - 3,108 Riverside - 1,446 All Home fans - 10,148
  11. Damn, I was hoping that was just a rumour. Just checked and saw that it's official 👎 Oh well, still a reasonable turnout nonetheless, considering the opposition.
  12. Latest home ticket sales (via the Ticket Map SVG); JW Stand - 5077 BBW Lower - 2802 Riverside - 1302 All - 9181 Not bad at all. Can probably expect a couple thousand walk-ons too?
  13. Gally out for 2m, with Yates in on loan (loan to buy hopefully) is great business. Gallagher, for all of his running around, is technically awful and terrible at using his physical advantages. I genuinely see JRC, playing as a right-back, as a way bigger attacking threat than Gallagher. Get it done 👍
  14. Really happy with Nat Phillips, just what we need after Carter’s unfortunate injury. Just need a LB, RW and an experienced ST now… won’t hold my breath 😅
  15. Latest home ticket sales (via the Ticket Map SVG); JW Stand - 3926 BBW Lower - 2142 Riverside - 1014 All - 7082
  16. Carter is out for 10-11 weeks... daym 😶
  17. Since the revelation that the court hearing didn't go ahead, it looks like we're gonna end up selling Adam to pay the bills... If/when that happens, let the protests begin.
  18. Interesting post on one of the Palace forums; Suggests they've had people meet Adam and his family, discussing a move etc.
  19. Is this something you've heard through the grapevine Glen?
  20. An update on this; We've now sold ~6522 home tickets. (3617 in the JW, 1966 in the BBE Lower, 939 in the Riverside) Not bad, considering it's an early cup game on a cold Monday night, and against a teeny-tiny little League 2 club.
