  1. A carbon copy of the Stoke game yesteday, sluggish start scrappy giving the ball away far to much for my liking and the game was over before we decided to give it a go. Lets not go over the top on criticism we had debutants who were probably nervy there first game and youngsters still in the learning process.Lets stay 100% behind JDT, like he said it will take more than 1 season to put his team together. When we turn up and get into top gear were a match for any team.
  2. Let's make it fortress Ewood, its important to win your home games if we have ambitions of a top 6 finish,
  3. Making his full debut against Blackpool he played like he had been in the starting 11 for 5 or 6 seasons. Very impressive display.
  4. What's happened to the Buckley from the back end of last season, goal of the month against Preston and goal of the season against Birmingham.
  5. Theres 2 sides to Rovers, the Rovers that played fantastic football against Blackpool, moving the ball about superbly. Then the Rovers who didn't turn up for 45 minutes against Stoke and payed the price. Lets hope its the Rovers who played against Blackpool today. Great to see BBD is here till at least January and John Buckley has signed a new 5 year contract.
  6. Good riddance to Lenihan, we want players commited to Blackburn Rovers next season. The supporters deserve some success after last seasons failure. I have thought of a new chant next season, TOMASSONS BLUE AND WHITE ARMY.
  7. With pessimists like you supporting the club, be lucky to get 5,000.
  8. According to Broughton theres a healthy budget for new players and he will be meeting BBD with his reps next week when he's back for pre season training. I can see a big crowd turning up for the 1st home game.
  9. Birmingham have been hovering just over the relegation zone for a few seasons. The defence must have leaked a lot of goals.
  10. I agree with 4-4-2, an attacking formation wins matches. You don't see the likes of Liverpool and Man City playing defensive formations, and they win Trophies.
  11. What about BBD, he might decide to stay with the new manager in place. He's premier class on his day.
  12. There's not many millionaires in Blackburn, I pay for a ticket on match day because I couldn't afford a season ticket. It worked out last season, I only missed 2 home games last season.I can save a bit of money over the fortnight till the next home game. I am looking forward to next season with Tomasson in charge, he's a decent track record as player and manager.
  13. Hopefully we will get players played in their correct positions under JDT. They play a lot better in there natural position.
  14. Looking forward to the new season with Tomasson the new manager in place at last. We have decent youngsters at Ewood, all this talk about man city loanees at burnley.Buckley (goal of the season at Birmingham) Wharton etc.
  15. I agree Harwood-Bellis was a decent player on loan.
  16. I know he's been a decent player for Rovers, but we need players that are committed to Blackburn Rovers next season. I am not sure if he's gone yet ore still waiting.I would be happy if he changed his mind with the new manager in place.
  17. He's showed his true colours, let's replace him with a decent Rovers player wearing the captains armband who's commited to Blackburn Rovers.
  18. If the Venkys want a successful club, they need to put money in the transfer kitty. We need replacements for Lenihan, Rothwell and maybe Nyambe.
  19. Can't be far off, it's an early start to the season (July 30th) because of the World Cup next Winter.
  20. Welcome JDT, lets hope you make it a hat trick of titles at Ewood. We can finally move on and prepare for next season.
  21. I went to all the home games last season apart from 2. I will be there again next season, might be interesting if Tomasson takes over.
  22. He's now 1/20 on in the Rovers manager betting.Somebody quoted he's only managed small time clubs, didn't he guide Malmo to back to back titles, who were in the Champions league in the 90s.Can't be 100% sure about the years, some quizmaster will put me right.
  23. A certain player called Pele was 17 when he won the World Cup with Brazil. Fortune favours the brave. You've got to try young talent in the team to discover stars. It will be up to the new manager when he's in the dug out.
