  1. Wow. That’s the best week of football from QPR to today in many a year for us Rovers fans. My special mention to Hayden Carter. Absolute rock, has every attribute needed to play in the premier league, him and Hyam are our best centre half pairing since Nelsen and Samba. No debates.
  2. I thought season was done after Rotherham, feels nicely weird to be optimistic after February about our play off chances! I remember last season, the resurgent Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United were behind us and ever closing our gap and you felt it was when not if, they would overtake us. This season the “big guns” Watford Norwich and West Brom beneath us haven’t really hit top gear yet, like the aforementioned did last season. Seems to be Millwall and Luton who are in the best form at the moment in the ‘pack’.
  3. My player ratings, not that any cares! Pears 7 JRC 9 Carter 6 Hyam 7 Brittain 7 Buckley 7 Travis 8 Thomas 6 Szmodics 7 Dolan 7 Gallagher 8
  4. Didn’t know trav had that in the locker. Zidane-esque that was!
  5. Heart says 1-2 Rovers Head says 1-1 Fancy Dolan to take the mantle and score again. Perhaps Szmodics too.
  6. That came from Brittain taking a risk and rolling his man at left back. Brilliant player, love him.
  7. Yep guarantee 95% of this board would agree we all thought his rovers career was done. Fair play to the lad he’s been brilliant this season. Forest at home in the cup was some performance and he conceded 4!
  8. To further back this up, Sorba Thomas commented something along the lines of Skipper team talk 🔥 under travis’ social media post tonight. Would agree at half time, however second half I thought they were both great. Definitely better than Morton, excited for A Wharton to return, and wouldn’t be against JRC coming in having a go in CM when fit.
  9. Swansea, like most well coached possession heavy team, (Man City, Arsenal etc) play a 3-2-5 formation. So I would match them up in a 5-2-3, coincidently, I think we have had some of our best attacking performances in a 5 back this season (Rotherham, Sunderland and Watford at home) Pears Brittain Carter Hyam Wharton Pickering JRC (if fit) Travis Gallagher Dack Brereton
  10. Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Buckley Thomas Dack Diaz Dolan
  11. For me, Brereton best game for us came in the 3-1 win over Sheffield United last season he played up top on his own, ran Basham and Egan ragged. Khadra and poveda were on the wings. Would be worth throwing him up top, hedges right and Thomas left.
  12. It what Nixon says is the wholehearted truth. It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have had the transfer blocked. One reason it may not be true is why brierley also didn’t go through - per Nixon it’s becuase Brierley himself didn’t tick the white British box on his form.
  13. I second this. Want to hear what the Kentaro/SEM puppet master Silvestor has been upto down the years.
  14. I’m a “happy clapper” but for me, for it not to be announced by now - it’s fallen through. Why would they wait this long?
  15. Yes…it will be announced at 8 or 9am when the media team are in the building
  16. We’ve signed the best midfielder in the league from last season, agreed packages on our end with clubs for 2 strikers, and he doesn’t run the clubs social media. Can we give GB 5 minutes off the hurling abuse!
  17. Should be time for some “announceMENTS” per Sharpe’s LT column…suggests plural
  18. Sharpe suggesting there are 3 strikers who haven’t been named yet, that we are “assessing”
  19. Don’t want to speak too soon but I believe Hayden Carter is unfairly underrated on here. Grown into his size and is an assured player now at 22/23 years old.
