Dingle mates always use the empty seat thing to give me stick. Not difficult to point out though, that they would have had about 14000 empty seats for their Premier league game against Fulham the other night, if The Dome was the same size as Ewood. It isn't really a good gauge, considering Ewood is 30-50% bigger than most grounds.

If someone wants to boycott thinking it will make a difference, I obviously accept their opinion. What I would say though, is that if that someone was definitely going to attend a game and doesn't, then they would be boycotting. If they wouldn't have gone anyway, then that isn't boycotting, it's just missing another game. It's disingenuous for those that don't have a decision to make, to call out those for whom it would be a massive wrench.

My brother has worked in India for decades, he said years ago there's no way will they be forced into anything, in fact quite the opposite, protesting is more likely to make them dig their heels in. Protesting won't make them sell,it certainly hasn't had any effect up to now despite the thousands staying away. I'm not going to criticise those who stay away,but I'll certainly be taking my place at home games. The Venkys will sell up when they're ready and not before.
