  1. We'll done girls, every one of them sang the anthem.
  2. I'm guessing a lot on here will be relieved we didn't get any of them, given that O'brien, Mcburnie and Brereton were deemed not good enough.
  3. Fergie played them all more from necessity, as an old United fan always tells me.
  4. The number of times I've heard it, "I'm not going again until that lot have gone" . You're kidding yourself if you think it isn't having an effect.
  5. You're miles off on this one, show me another forum where it's own fans are staying away and urging others to do the same and we can do a comparison.
  6. To be honest, I wouldn't consider not renewing, but obviously acknowledge people's reasons for doing so. I was just pointing out that the comparisons with other clubs' ticket sales aren't really comparable to ours when there's a lot who are boycotting.
  7. I don't know to be honest, I had to look it up but I'm still not sure. Interesting though, never actually heard of it before.
  8. I said some have chosen not to buy one, and urge others not to. I'd imagine people choosing not to buy tickets probably affected numbers.
  9. Please Tommy, not the luck thing again 🤦‍♂️
  10. It's such a contradiction on here, the same message board has a daily barrage of people saying they won't be back until Venkys have gone, and urge others to do the same. Then we have the never ending conversation of why ticket sales are so low.
  11. "Excellent " for Hibs last season.
  12. Bit of window dressing going on with this move.
  13. And if the coach is asking for players that the club says they can't afford, and swaps the play offs for a relegation battle, has he engineered a move? I'm guessing the truth lies somewhere in between, and highlights my initial post. Gestede and Ismael being aligned on transfers is the most important thing for Rovers this summer.
  14. I don't think they were lied to, I just don't think the coaches and club were aligned properly, not helped by constantly changing staff behind the scenes.
  15. If Eustace hawking his services round to any club which would listen isn't a problem, I don't know what is. I'm not blaming him or the club, I think they just were at loggerheads because the transfer situation was never clarified from the start, or one side tried to change it. Just to clarify, I think Eustace got virtually every position covered that he'd have wanted. The problem looks like he got what he wanted, but didn't get to choose who he wanted. I'm not saying it is or isn't the right way to go, but if the club chooses the players and the coach coaches them, then both parties have to be happy with the situation.
  16. It's the main point for me, we've lost 2 good coaches because of it.
  17. I'm not particularly bothered who has control as long as they're all on the same page. From the outside, it would appear that was the problem with the last 2 coaches. As far as Eustace goes, I'd say he got the positions covered he wanted, but didn't get to choose which players filled them. The situation needs clarification or we'll end up with another unhappy coach. Just another point, it does seem that Ismael has the backing of most on here, much more so than when he came in.
  18. I know it doesn't fit the narrative, that's why it's never been considered. Playing well as a partnership means complementing each other.
  19. Good point on partners, it's never considered that it may well have been Hyam bringing out the best in Batth, that wouldn't do.
  20. Don't know to be honest, I was actually meaning how the team as a whole was set up.
  21. If the team was set up more defensively, and we scored a higher ratio of goals to chances, then despite scoring fewer goals, the attack obviously did better, not worse. It isn't even an argument, although I don't know whether it's true or not.
  22. Depends on the ratio of goals to chances. With a different team set up, it's possible/probable having only scored 7 less, that the attack actually did better. It depends on the chances created.
  23. Or he's unhappy at the 10k wage cap.
  24. For some reason, Dolan is held to much higher standards than anyone else , I mean it's almost as if some have made up their mind and trying to prove it, whatever next. With only 13 goal involvements plus being involved in many other build ups, plus being the hardest working player on the pitch, I'm sure we'll have no problem replacing him.
  25. Fair comment. Regarding Batth, he did play well, but he's one player, you know what point I was making.
