I actually blamed Gudjonson for their winning goal, really poor to not control in front of goal for one of our best chances. -

Aye, chalk and cheese compared to the last couple of games. Second to every ball at Charlton. Last thing you want though, when you're not playing well, is your keeper making a mess of his first attempted save. We were poor from 1 to 11. -

If that's all he's guilty of, it isn't really worth even mentioning. -

Who has he blamed, and for what ? -

Out of necessity, yes. Got to admit, I'm surprised I'm having to explain the difference between starting a player in a position, especially a "utility" player like Hickman, and having to move him out of necessity. Just assumed we'd moved on from there. -

I was thinking that the freak weather last week robbed us of a nice league run of 3 wins out of 4 going into today. We'd have been looking up rather than down, what difference 10 minutes and a week make. -

He played him in midfield, only moving him to full back after the injury. Did you miss an hour ? -

Aye, we were looking at 3 wins out of 4 and a nice little run until the abandonment. As you say, poor today but we'll see how it goes. -

Even though we knew the game wasn't going to be restarted, we hung around on Saturday just out of curiosity. Never been to an abandoned game before I don't think, so it's one for the memory bank. The good news is we hopefully get another home game to go to. It'll certainly be a strange one. -

Unless, having changed the 75 minute rule, they want to set a new precedent going forward. -

Have they not already set a precedent by allowing both sides to put their case forward ? It's obvious what both sides will want, but the facts haven't changed since Saturday. The decision should be made without any club intervention. -

Agreed, they've already set (or continued) the precedent of asking both sides to put their case forward. The facts are all known, they should just make the inevitable decision. -

The problem seems to be getting the water into the river when the river level is too high. It would seem obvious to install a sump with a pump(s) close to the river and pump it over the top when needed. -

Indeed, just a shame we didn't get our just desserts. Would have been interesting to see if Gudjonson and Kargbo could capitalise on the situation. Thought the word team summed up the performance yesterday, and at Watford to be fair. -

We sit low down in the JW so it might have looked different from up top, but apart from a couple of slips, the pitch played fine into the second half. I thought the ref was right to start the game, and right to stop it when he did. -

Don't remember him just hoofing it at all, more short balls through. -

Did like the way Miller carried the ball out of defence and always looked for a forward pass. Played a few lovely passes into midfield to turn Ipswich round and get us on the front foot.
