  1. Why would the club buy him and loan him back, If they're not in a position to do so?
  2. As I thought, it's turning into another Stokegate.
  3. Probably not, they've had 17 managers since
  4. Thought he was just pipped by Tronstad to be honest, who was absolutely everywhere.
  5. I'm not one to blame refs, don't think I've commented on one all season till now, but at the time I saw that one and seeing it back just confirmed what a poor decision it was having directly led to a goal.
  6. Maybe so, but it doesn't make the Alebiosu decision any less ridiculous, 2 wrongs n all that.
  7. Ironically, it was that non clearance at West Brom which was the worst decision of them all. The ref shouldn't get another game after missing the foul on Alebiosu. Makes me wonder what he was actually watching. Terrible officiating.
  8. πŸ˜‚ I actually always turn into Herbert Street
  9. Just one loan, but a good un, would be perfect.
  10. Always street parking where we park around Wilson Street BB24AR 10 minute walk
  11. It was a flippant comment meant as a joke, in support of Leonard. No more, no less. That's why I said you didn't understand the conversation. It won't be the last comment to snowball out of all recognition but there you go. We haven't even got to the end of the window yet.
  12. I didn't realise we had to be so literal, but I'll keep that one in the back pocket.
  13. You have, go back to my reply to Rev a couple of pages back about Leonard. You didn't even realise Leonard was part of the conversation. You jumped in late and got it completely wrong.
  14. You've misunderstood the conversation .
  15. "Signing players who've been relegated" How many times did they get written off? You mustnt have been reading at the beginning of the window. And what the "abuse" comment is about I've no idea
  16. You've joined the conversation late and misunderstood what was being said.
  17. How they do isn't really the point is it?
  18. Most of this summer's signings were written off before they'd even flown in .
  19. You've either misunderstood or you're deliberately being awkward. How many players have we lost for nothing? If a player isn't going to sign ,or the manager doesn't want him, then he should be sold if there's a decent fee involved. As opposed to losing them for nothing, which has been the way for some time. If bringing Β£6/7 million in rather than nothing isn't good news, you'll need to explain.
  20. Not disputing the contract bit ,but if the player isn't signing, then sell them.
  21. Fickle? You're not kidding, he's gone from captain of the rubber dinghy men to irreplaceable.
  22. Not a phrase I've ever used, but hasn't Travis been one of the "rubber dinghy men" for the past few seasons? In fact captain of the rubber dinghy. it's football, it happens, it's totally detached from "real" life. Bullying? Come on, get a grip,it's as cut throat as it gets. The days of pinning colours to the mast for any player are well gone. I'll wish him well, thank him for his efforts and move on, probably won't even give him a second thought when we kick off on Saturday. The good news here is that the club might actually be starting to work more "normally". Cashing in on both Britain and Travis who wouldn't sign contracts is a welcome change of direction.
  23. Travis v Tronstad be weird, and that's just for us watching.
