The January 2026 Transfer Window
M_B replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Sure I heard late Jan/early Feb for a Wharton return? If(I know) him and Carter are available in the next two or 3 weeks, we're going to be well stocked. Can't really see us signing a centre half if that's the case. I'd suggest if we do sign one, it isn't good news for one or both. -

One thing's for sure, he'll become Jay Jay Okocha overnight if he does leave. -

Daughter's rung as well, bloke said it will probably be a no, but I'm going to ask the question because loads have rung up and it's ridiculous what Rovers have done. He said it probably depends if they have the staff to do it. -

I said after the Preston game, I'll bet Montgomery is thinking why does that ball keep going to Tronstad? He's very similar to Cantwell in that he nicks the ball a lot , it's a quality not many at this level have, they know what the other player is going to do before he's done it. -

Aye, can't knock his effort, God loves a trier, you can't fail but admire the effort he puts in. I didn't think it was so much his finishing, more his lack of pace to get in on goal to give himself a real chance . He's as important to the team over the next few weeks as anyone. -

Allegedly according to who? Honestly, I don't know how Eustace hasn't yet been knighted. -

It doesn't seem as good a point as it probably should, Rovers were the better team and finished the game far stronger. You've got to say, if we had Gudjonson up front with Ohashi we're in with a great chance of winning it,but considering the injuries before and during the game, it's a well earned point. -
It should be against the law to not have the option of paying cash, it happened before Internet banking, it should still be an option. To have a shop selling tickets, yet not accepting cash to pay for them is beyond ridiculous.

Hypothetically, would you swap ? I wouldn't, I think Alebiosu has more to his game. -
It was a good idea moving the kids there,I sit across the tunnel and the interaction between the players and the kids is great to see, impossible when they were upstairs. I'd counter that though by saying that people having to vacate their seats to accommodate the family stand wasn't ideal.

We're not getting anywhere near 15000,we both know that. I was making a point about it being "only one game". Turn the tables and that "only one game" becomes a big deal. -

The boycott would look even more effective if the game before against Charlton was a sell out,see what you're missing sort of thing. So if everyone who hasn't attended a game for God knows how long could possibly turn out for Charlton in early January that would be brilliant, come on, let's sell it out and show them what they're missing. After all, it's only one game. -

He seems happy enough, maybe he'll change his mind, I hope he does. If him and his family want to move nearer home though, then maybe let's just respect his wishes, there doesn't always have to be someone at fault. -

I hadn't even considered the Britain factor, great credit must go to Alebiosu for that, I honestly wouldn't swap back. -
Two more Japanese fans near us holding their Ohashi shirts up yesterday, adding to the one against Wednesday. Nice to see Yuki obliged with a goal on both occasions.

He was taken off with an injury, he came off holding the back of his thigh, and we all know what that indicates.

Dingle mates always use the empty seat thing to give me stick. Not difficult to point out though, that they would have had about 14000 empty seats for their Premier league game against Fulham the other night, if The Dome was the same size as Ewood. It isn't really a good gauge, considering Ewood is 30-50% bigger than most grounds.
