  1. It's his remit, it's what he's here to do. I'm guessing there will be a change of manager before there's a change in approach.
  2. Matters not whether anyone likes it, he's playing a way to showcase players into saleable assets and he isn't going to change.
  3. As I said, either, it looks like we're missing both badly. Maybe Szmodics was due a lull anyway, but he's definitely missing Dolan, the pressing from the front is definitely less intense without him. It's a shame, they were both playing as well as they have done.
  4. I'd have either, but the form held up without Costello, it fell off a cliff once Dolan got injured, as did Szmodics finding the net.
  5. We are missing him obviously, but the form of both the team, and Szmodics has nosedived since Dolan got injured. He'd be my first choice if I could have anyone back for Hull.
  6. It isn't just a couple though, it's at least 4 in the last 3 games. I'm praying he comes good, but right now, for me, Pears is straight back in as soon as he's fit. Hopefully Wahlsted's form improves over the next few games enough to warrant keeping his place.
  7. Going back years, how many of yesterday's players were playing for Rovers? He's been here for too long for that argument to stack up.
  8. If I could have one injured player back for Hull, it would be Dolan. The drop off in form since he got injured isn't a coincidence, Rovers and in particular Szmodics, are missing him massively.
  9. Why does he play Brittain in that introverted full back position
  10. I always say young Adam walks like one of those long distance walkers in the Olympics, it's all in the hips.
  11. This is where the inconsistency lies, if Pears makes the same blunders, you're all over it. We've gone from Pears being ridiculously blamed for the goals at Rotherham, to your comment above, it's mental honestly. Let's have at least a bit of consistency.
  12. I haven't missed a home game since the Doncaster game in league 1 due to holiday commitments. That includes every home cup tie. I'm seriously considering giving this one a miss, maybe the club could highlight paying on line without alienating people, such as me, who normally pay cash. Would it be so difficult???? I also haven't bought one thing on the concourse since it all went cashless. Please think again Mr Waggott, stop alienating people and leave the gimmicks to that egotistical prick at Forest Green.
  13. I don't know any way you could look at the first goal and come to the conclusion that the keeper isn't at fault.
  14. So many injuries to such a young squad, but there's no doubt that the sudden dip over the last few games has been as a result of Dolan getting injured, the zip has gone and we're looking weary. Thankfully it's a full week off before another game of small margins on Saturday,3 points would make a big difference to the league table.
  15. He did well overall, but their first goal was pathetic from a keeper's point of view. Really poor to concede like that just before half time.
  16. We should have been going in 0 0 at half time, pathetic from the corner. Won't be disappointed if we don't see Brittain again this side of Easter, give one of the kids a chance, absolutely pathetic. At least he's out next week. We're obviously feeling the strain, but it's hardly a level playing field when you look at the squads we're up against, even if we were at full strength. Dust off and go again in front of hopefully a decent gate. Come on Everton.
  17. I can't read it, not on Facebook, what's his general view please.
  18. When he finally gave us a free kick and the crowd all cheered, the linesman on the JW side was laughing his head off as he ran back to the half way line.
  19. About 30 seconds before Siggurdson's name appeared on the board, we were saying how much he'd put into the game. Last week on here I doubted his attitude, tonight he covered as much ground as anyone, he made recovery runs from first minute to the last, and scored a great goal. He may or may not have been man of the match, but he certainly answered some questions.
