  1. Have a listen to yourself.
  2. The comments above refer back to an incident late in the game, not the goal. He has to keep his place now.
  3. I've only seen it live, but from our position in the JW stand, we were all saying Toth should have come out. It clearly looked like his ball.
  4. It has been terrible until recently, but there definitely are mitigating circumstances. Not one person on here would disagree that Eustace was massively let down in January, but Ismael has had a skeleton squad available of even those available to Eustace. For a team which doesn't score many to lose it's top scorer, was a massive blow.
  5. The "immediate" game was Swansea, one of the worst "performances" in living memory. That is actually the most recent form before he took over. You keep on repeating 3 from 5 as if it's the only figures allowed in law.
  6. I mentioned Eustace, why stop at 5?
  7. Aye, but 2 in 11 under Eustace, and that was with top scorer Weimann. It has been poor up to the last 3 games, but there are without doubt, mitigating circumstances.
  8. Wouldn't have wanted to miss being there today. Brilliant 3rd goal, I'm waiting to see Dolan's skill again in the build up, out of your seat stuff. Some great performances got to be Britain for man of the match. Cracking win against a form team.
  9. Played well at Luton when he came on Forshaw, cool head when needed.
  10. It isn't a fact, actually the evidence so far suggests they've no intention of going anywhere, despite the drop in numbers.
  11. It isn't a fact, it's an opinion. What is a fact is that season ticket sales have dropped through the floor, but they haven't shown any sign of leaving.
  12. It always comes down to this argument, it's so predictable. Where does subscribing to Sky sit in all this?
  13. Funnily enough,I was born here but the rest of the family moved from St Helens, all my relatives are over there Always watched the Red V 😇
  14. Nah, we needed to win them. It isn't often, if ever, I'd want us to lose, but if it means the Dingles miss out, I'll probably take it.
  15. Given that it's away at Sheff United, it would probably take care of itself.
  16. I can't say that I see it that way, it seems a bit of a one dimensional way of thinking. It also assumes that players can only play one way, which may be true. But that would be down to the quality of the player, rather than the footballing logic behind the signing. I
  17. Depends if you play them together though.
  18. That doesn't ring true. I was at a sports man's dinner for Rishton fc a few weeks back, grandson plays for them. Rovers fans heavily outnumbered anyone else. A lot of my work is in Rishton and Harwood. Even in these lean times, Rovers is definitely the most prominently supported club.
  19. Good luck with that plan, McBurnie, O'brien and Brereton weren't worthy a few weeks ago.
  20. A lot more effort than quality, but a win at Luton where much better teams have failed. Fair play to Forshaw, showed his experience and cool head when needed when he came on. Lovely pass from Hedges for the goal and a great finish. Despite plenty stick from the Luton commentary, somehow Toth kept a clean sheet so he should keep his place.
  21. Looks like we've been watching the same player. Letting him walk away would be a big mistake.
