I suppose it's how you see it, their right winger was blisteringly quick, a cracking player. A bit much to give Pickering grief because of today's match up. I'd be surprised if he comes up against anyone of that calibre this season. On the match as a whole, a Wycombe fan sat in front of us probably summed it up well. He said you played some nice stuff, singling out Szmodics, but you won't play a better team this season.

We all know how this goes, if Pears throws one in, Kaminski should have been in, he's a better shot stopper, and if Kaminski gets caught playing out, Pears should have played because he's better with his feet. I'm happy with Tomasson's choice, whoever he chooses, I don't think there's much between them to be honest.

I honestly don't care who he picks, he'll pick whoever he feels suits his team best, I'm behind either of them. The results will tell if he got it right.

I'd imagine Gallagher will get a half at most in whichever game he plays. I've a feeling he might give all 4 keepers a half each.

I'm split on the keepers really, Tomasson will pick whoever he feels is best for his team.

Could imagine the keepers having 45 minutes each against Girona. Would imagine whoever plays/ starts in that game will start against West Brom.

Try watching it without comparing it, not easy but I've got better at it. It doesn't help when the media do it constantly. There's been a rumpus over the women's keeper's shirt, apparently you can't buy a replica. First thing Matterface did on Talksport yesterday was compare it to Pickford's shirt. The best analogy I've heard is the 100 metres. As someone asked, do you watch the women's 100m Olympic and all the way through the competition compare it to the men's? The midfield started to receive the ball from the defence and actually turn with it, rather than automatically passing it back to where it came from. Morton in particular was just starting to play more positively, shame he got injured when he did imo. It also has to be said, it started to click more when Pears came in. Whether we played more fluently because of him, or whether the team was getting better and it looked like Pears made the difference is open to debate.

We sit 2nd row back in the JW. Towards the end of the season Hedges was playing right wing and we were surprised just how vocal he was. Also, I just get the impression he's a real team player,he certainly puts it in. To be honest, it isn't something that keeps me awake at night either way, but I've always thought he seemed a good sort.

If he played more, Hedges would be the man for captain. Here we have a proper team player who isn't shy to open his mouth. It needs a more senior player, who will play a majority of games. Give it Pickering and see him flourish.
