Not answering questions though is he, so he might as well have gone into hiding. I think you know what I meant. And it's clear they are journo's who during a transfer window will ask about transfers. That's their job. The problem is Broughton not being available to answer questions. It's clear to a blind man on a galloping horse what was going to happen, and it's just as clear JDT is getting pissed off with it.

What can they do though? They have every right to ask the questions because the fans want to know. The problem is that Broughton (apparently) has said he won't talk about transfers until the transfer window has shut. If he won't give interviews then the media will keep asking the questions of the people who will i.e. JDT. Broughton needs to man up and give an update. It doesn't have to be in-depth. Problem solved.

Football Terminology

Not surprising. You can see how organised we are and how deep the whole team drop when we don't have the ball. Against Hartlepool in open play Dack was on the edge of his own 6 yard box. It must be very hard for the opposition to play against. -
Thank you, kind sir.

Sorry if I've missed it but how many tickets have we got for Bradford?

Ashley Phillips - signs a new deal

Not strictly true. AA and/or SG had to take a pay cut to come to Ewood. And like I said, if they really want him they could blow us out of the water financially. -

The point is they're capable of offering him a lot more than us, if they really want him. -

I'd hope AP does sign up and spend 2 or 3 years with us developing as a footballer. The stability issue is a good point. London may be a bit of a head scrambler for a 17 year old who wasn't brought up there. He also might not develop to the same standard if he's playing Spurs U23 games for the next couple of seasons. He would be training with Kane and Son of course but they are no BBD and Dack! Hopefully he just concentrates on his football here and Rovers reward him with a contract that befits his new status. I'm presuming the pro deal that was agreed in principle 12 months ago might be looking a bit on the light side now he's made his debut in the league!
