  1. Waggott and Broughton need to go, along with the fucking idiot who couldn't press 'send'.
  2. yeah, but come on, he's 'owning' his fuck ups. That's the important thing, right?
  3. 'owning it'. Has he resigned?
  4. Everyone takes responsibility, but no-one is to blame. For the love of god, can we all just move on please! Gregg's amazing, not many DoF's could have brought in a loan player from Huddersfield. And so what if that's the first time the club have failed to do a deal because someone didn't send the right forms off. It's just coincidence it happened on Gregg's watch, it could have happened anytime in the last 148 years. Nothing to see here.
  5. But @JoeHsaid it was Swags 'duty' to be at Birmingham. Haha, the same BS as Gregg came out with.
  6. If you read the twitter comments where the vid was posted, and the comments on here, that's exactly what's happened. Your last line just about sums it up.
  7. Yep, if GB's 'furious', imagine how the bloke feels who carried the can for the results on the pitch. I wouldn't be surprised if he does one.
  8. I think it's PR fluff and if you actually listen to it he's deflected blame all the way through. Saying you're taking responsibility isn't the same as doing it. If it was he should resign. But someone should lose their job, (this is a huge financial fuck up if we don't make the play-offs on gate-receipts alone), and if not him then who?
  9. You're easily taken in by a bit of PR fluff.
  10. Someone should lose their job over this. That's why I take issue with GB's 'lets not point fingers, and lets just move on' PR bullshit.
  11. I genuinely don't get this bit. He said the hard work had been done and that it was an internal matter/external matter that was the problem. If the EFL portal wasn't working properly fair enough, but at our end it seems someone just forgot to send the docs. What part of the process was he alluding to? Do we have a faxer-in-chief that isn't up to the job?
  12. So you retract the accusation that I was attacking you personally? That's a start at least. And if you work in recruitment for Barrow FC then it follows that at some point you may have, or have already had, dealings with Rovers and/or GB. Again, I only know you work for Barrow FC because you posted it on the forum. But, like you, I'm just sharing an opinion. Please don't attack me for it.
  13. Where did I attack you personally? You were 'attacking' Sparks with a slightly odd sarcastic response, and I merely asked why you were so defensive? I also merely asked if you were involved in recruitment at Barrow? I only know you are at Barrow because you posted it on this forum. So, any answers?
  14. A lesson in: How to take full responsibility without taking any responsibility. I'm amazed anyone has bought that PR bullshit. He told us nothing we don't already know.
  15. You seem incredibly defensive, Joe? Do you deal with recruitment at Barrow?
  16. He said he was furious, but he's only giving the interview due to the public outcry. He said as much. That isn't leadership.
  17. If he is indeed taking responsibility then he'll resign. That's a colossal fuck-up on some many levels, and totally undermines the manager's ability to do his job effectively.
  18. His position is untenable.
  19. 'I take full responsibility, but now is not the time to point fingers, please move on'🤣 And he doesn't say what the 'internal factors' were that fucked up the deals.
  20. Point 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 toinfinity. Steve Waggott is paid to oversee the business dealings at Rovers, including player contracts. That's his job. He is ultimately responsible, because whoever fucked up reports to him. That's accountability at CEO level. He should resign.
  21. £45k according to online resource I saw, but still. That's a lot of money to throw at a loan unless this was a greenlighted 'special' from Venky's.
  22. Indeed it is, you ignored the part that countered your bizarre strawman that people were viewing this as a conspiracy. And it isn't 'his job', his job is CEO of Blackburn Rovers, paid to oversee the business side of Rovers, including player contracts.
  23. I'm not sure anyone is saying there's a conspiracy, just that the CEO, on a season-defining day, should maybe have stayed in the office rather than enjoying hospitality at Birmingham City.
