  1. You said his legs had gone and that we should sell him. You were too quick to judge considering he hadn't even got up to speed and wasn't properly fit, or even match fit at that point.
  2. I think the football is sterile, but a lot of that comes down to not having the players in attack that can play the way he wants. I doubt Gally on the wing would be his choice, which is why he's brought Thomas in. Hedges is hardly effective as an attacker, and BBD has been good for half a season again. Dolan's more of an impact player off the bench for me, and Vale just hasn't reached the standard yet. JDT needs at least 3 new forwards, probably 4 when BBD leaves. It's encouraging that he's brought in actual winger in to play on the wing. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
  3. You were too quick to write him off. JDT repeatedly said it would take time for Dack to get back up to speed. That isn't going to happen in a month or two after a 2 year lay off with two career-threatening injuries. It's taken nearly a year from starting training again to get to this point. He's probably a yard slower than before his injuries, but fortunately he's a very talented player at this level who never relied on pace, and he's still the most natural goal scorer at the club.
  4. We last sored 3 against the mighty Rotherham in October. I'm hoping for a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win. It's normally the best we can hope for. If we want to stay in the play-off hunt we really do need 3 points today.
  5. I agree. But some people don't like certain managers because they perceive them to be 'old-fashioned' managers who don't play 'modern' entertaining football. Examples would be Warnock and Dyche. But then they change their minds when they realise the current manager of the team they support doesn't play entertaining football either. They then decide only results matter.
  6. His position on that has changed somewhat!
  7. Beautifully set up so you can absolutely destroy them if they don't win convincingly.😉
  8. Swansea's last 10 away matches. Half were draws. We've just drawn 4 in a row. I think it might be draw!
  9. Interesting interview for 2 reasons: 1) He was clearly getting a bit of a dig in when he referenced the 9 games of this calendar year that have been wins or draws. The recent criticism might be getting to him a bit. Never seen him defensive before. 2) He was a lot more positive about his/the club's desire to reach the play-offs. Obviously he's got the message on that one!
  10. But less of a knob when he leads us to Champions League glory.
  11. Good results away from home to Watford and West Brom. We've been tough to beat since the turn of the year. Such a shame we/EFL fucked up the LOB deal. Morton needs dropping for good. The anti-Buckley mob are looking sillier by the week.
  12. Sharpe said something in the LT the other day about Vale having to learn to play how JDT wants his strikers to play. It mentioned that Vale likes to move into the channels but that isn't what JDT wants, or something similar. Basically there isn't a striker at the club that fits the profile JDT wants. This is what he said about Leonard recently:- “We look at Harry’s development the whole time and he’s a player with potential for sure. He’s improving. Is he good enough to be leading Rovers each week? Of course not at that age, but he’s working hard and becoming better."
  13. we were 7 seconds late...i posted a link to a lancs live story about it a day or two ago
  14. No it wasn't. Educate yourself. Blackburn didn't buy the Premier League title in 1995 – they earned it | Football | The Guardian
  15. Vale was banging them in for U21's too.
  16. It's a good job you've got your sunny outlook to keep you going 🙂
  17. Draws parallel then claims no parallel is being drawn. Textbook 🙂
  18. Good to see the club showing some bollocks for once!

  21. It was wrong when you posted it, but even more wrong less than 24 hours later when he pirouetted in the box like Rudolf Nureyev and got an assist for Dack's goal.
  22. A red-top journalist, who apparently knows the answer, is not going to spill the beans as it's for Rovers to announce. 🤔😁
  23. I bet you won't get fooled again.
  24. So Nixon's saying in the S*n rag that the LOB appeal has failed, but then when questioned on twitter he denies it's failed? I don't get the Nixon hate most of the time, but I do today!
