  1. That takes me back to leaving Peps alone in late 80's, with only a hot dog from the seller in the car park to look forward to. 😁
  2. ClitheroeRover I think it was, or similar.
  3. they only signed him on a 4 year deal in summer 2022 according to wiki. he's only scored 1 goal this season so he fits the mould!
  4. So I take it the guy on here mooting a Carter/Bishop swap was after just blurting?
  5. I wonder if we can get Hirst back 😁
  6. ....and we should charge them if he's shit.
  7. Last thing I read on the twitters was Gelhardt wanted to go back to Wigan on loan but they couldn't afford his wages. So, it's now between Rovers, Boro and S'land.
  8. Who's paying the extra in that deal?
  9. Excellent. Put me on ignore.
  10. No arguments from me, I've never been more bored at Ewood.
  11. the old 4-4-2 was really what I was referring to, where you'd have two wingers putting the ball in the box. Coyle played like that, so did Bowyer, but very few managers do anymore. It's no surprise that traditional strikers like Rhodes, Rudy and Gally thrived in those formations.
  12. I think that's his problem, he isn't good enough with his back to goal to play the lone front man. However, as a header of the ball he's clearly excellent technically. He's sacrificed himself for the good of the team by running about on the wing for 3/4 years. It's been a waste of his talents IMO. I think he'd be suited to playing in a two up front but nobody really plays like that anymore.
  13. Sam Gallagher's Championship goals - Bing video Sam Gallagher scoring some very, very good headers.
  14. Yeah, Dack's always out wide putting crosses in! And BBD. I can see him now getting to the touchline and whipping the ball inπŸ™ƒ And we were talking about set-pieces, which Morton invariably takes, and not very well. 'Best set-piece taker in the Championship' was how Thomas was described by a Hudds fan. A quick look at his many assists and you can see why. And you being wrong, isn't me being a contrarian. 'Tangled up' Grow up, if you don't like having your opinions challenged don't put them on a public forum. And you weren't bothered about being 'tangled up' the other week when you out of the blue you accused me of defending the club at every opportunity.
  15. And yet under Coyle Gally scored some great headers. It's just that since Mogga arrived we've had nobody capable of crossing a ball.
  16. Whoever gets on the end of his excellent delivery.
  17. You don't think scoring from set-pieces is important?
  18. Haha, I hope he was suitably biased!
  19. He's on Β£30k a week according to t'internet.
  20. Breo's goal, their fans singing they were shit, and hanging on to a 1-0 at home to a team whose fans were singing they were shit. What a time to be alive!
  21. It's amazing how triggered some people are by a bit of good news. For their sake, I hope we don't sign anyone tomorrow.
