  1. Transfer-related and seemingly a very simple solution to elite clubs poaching talent from strong academies: if a youngster spends 5+ years in a specific club academy, that academy should automatically retain a 10% clause on all the player’s future transfers. This would turbocharge grassroots recruitment and ensure genuine benefits for clubs that invest in developing young talent. One for the new regulator to ponder?
  2. Qatar SC is owned by the Qatari government through Qatar Sports Investments (QSi). QSi is a Qatari-government operated shareholding organization and a subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), the state-run sovereign-wealth fund……
  3. I feel this is absolutely crucial. We need to push this hard. Pasha and Waggot said in their media video (when asked by Andy Bayes) that any credible offers would be presented to Venkys. Therefore, it is imperative that we are told what happened to these offers. If rejected, why. Wrong price? Wrong buyer? Silence will again provide fans with yet more ammo.
  4. Could you confirm what type of buyers enquired as mentioned by Mike in his speech? Were they individuals, corporates or consortiums?
  5. Not the point. If he or anyone does enquire and there is no answer, more fuel to the protest group against Pasha. You said you would take credible offers to Venkys…
  6. Can John Textor please enquire about Blackburn?
  7. Love to know what it's like for your club to achieve
  8. I can't get onboard with not for sale, no response, etc. Ok two years ago but there the environment has changed dramatically, even the three stooges said they would entertain credible offers....I do not believe that there isn't a firm out there that would buy Rovers / happy to put forward a credible offer.
  9. All this talk of other Championship clubs being bought by x, consortium here, ex player here. Why are we never in that discussion, why are there no legitimate parties interested publicly? Just seems so odd...You know the fans hate the owners, you know the historical makings of a club are there and with a serious offer, even the Venkys would need to consider with all the financial issues going. I'm just so jealous...
  10. That shirt sums up the total lack of progress made under Venkys
  11. Would keep JRC and Buckley for extra bodies. No fee from their sale is being used for player buying.
  12. No, no, no. Money from transfers is not reinvested into the team - there is no point accepting any transfer money.
  13. "At the time of writing, Dion De Neve is the only player contracted until 2028." Simply astonishing...
  14. Exactly this - whether they sell or not is not the primary goal, it's pushing them to say or do something. Much like telling the three amigos (now 2) to stay away. Deep down we knew they wouldn't stay away but it forced their hand to respond...
  15. Forget the £200M - that is not happening. It's about Venkys understanding that this asset is a write off (happens every day in the private capital world) and cutting their losses/getting as much as they can. As per @RoverDom it WILL become £300M, £400M... because we are not progressing upwards in any way with the current strategy - it simply will not allow us to grow. Where this all falls down and unfortunately seems to be more and more the case, is if they just don't care and are treating Rovers not as an investible but a trophy asset, then it really is game over with this strategic direction.
  16. 100% agree there are limits to what can be done if you do not have a channel of communication. I still believe one of the ways to draw out Venkys into actually doing something (or not which still speaks volumes) is to actively source interested investors. Through our network, we must have some corporate financier, private equity professionals, well connected HNWs that could potentially gauge interest? The three amigos (now two) said that they would be present 'credible offers' to Venkys so let's find them....This interest (regardless of how concrete) would provide strong ammo for the Coalition to present to media.
  17. Just a reminder - what are the Venkys getting out of owning Blackburn Rovers?!
  18. As per above, Elliott Jackson needs to be all over this. There is no corporate world in which you cannot respond to this without significant scrutiny.
