Seriously? Toth is an excellent keeper at this level, and a full international with good experience too. He is also on the ascendancy in his career, unlike Pears who seems to be flatlining. I hope the Mak goes on to have a rewarding career in football elsewhere. If anyone could exemplify the sheer ineptitude of the current management structure and its decision making, Makhtar Gueye would be a prime example of what is wrong with our club. Talk about fooking 'hit and hope' - unfortunately for our recruitment 'experts' the lad struggled to hit, and didn't really have any hope of doing justice to his alloted shirt. This lot would sell their granny tied to a kitchen sink if they could flip a significant margin from it. In the dim and distant past, players would ply their trade at Ewood for a few seasons to demonstrate their qualities and if someone came knocking at the shop window the club would generally do what was best for the player, whilst generating some much needed income for the club - which back then didn't have 'rich owners' with relatively bottomless pockets. Now, it seems like if a player comes in and shows any kind of talent, they are being hawked like cheap tat in a Moroccan bazaar to all and sundry whose eye might be drawn. It's not the same. It's shit, for everyone except the deal makers. Venkys don't fund this club - it washes its face in the money generated by player sales. The phrase, "Piss up in a brewery" comes to mind when I reflect upon the competence of the behind the scenes management set up at Rovers...and not in a positive sense. The club is so zombie-like these days, it is almost as if we are being run by relatives of Shaun of the Dead, except that film has a happy ending. I guess SP and RG and to a certain extent VI know that we can see right through their lies, their subterfuge and their ineptitude, but for reasons that are still formally to come to light they just don't give a crap. I'd imagine any meaningful questions being put to any of the three stooges would result in Followed swiftly by a repeat of the famous John Lydon (Jonny Rotten) taunt...

As they say, desperate times call for desperate measures... It has come to something of a new low if many fans are more comfortable with a game not going ahead.. Question is, why do the arseholes / mouthpieces (same thing) at the club continue to pretend that there isn't something seriously wrong with the set up? There might be salvation in some honesty and truth for a change, as at least the problem(s) would be out in the light, rather than ignored and dishonestly presented as 'normal' for a football club.
