No. The Law (12, Fouls and Misconduct) would only apply if the player had been judged by the referee to have deliberately endangered the safety of another player. In this case, their player (Watmough) did endanger Hyam, but he had his back tto him when he jumped, and also jumped into his own player first. It was dangerous play, but IMO not deliberate - most referees would not have the cojones to give an indirect free kick inside the penalty area. At the other end, I agree we were somewhat fortunate not to be penalised for Gueye's challenge for the ball with Potts (or whoever) and the suspicion of handball - but again the mitigating factor was that Potts (or whoever) was behind him and to me appeared to shove Gueye too, so a 50-50 ball. In some games the ref might have taken a different view, but I personally think he called that one right. So for me, the Nobbers might feel let down by the ref for our penalty, but they had no claim of their own. And in any case, what an injustice that would have been after having brought so little to the game and deserving nothing. Besides, I completely despise their skank manager, who is more weasly than Ron, and more rattty than Roland - a despicable charactter whose sides play sunday league football at best. We won. They lost. Let's move on. -

No, it was dangerous play. Which is an indirect free kick. -

The site is totally up the swanny this evening - tiny font, missing functionality, no way to pick up notifications, random pages missing, constantly resetting itself and going back to the start - SOUNDS LIKE A VIRUS AT THE SERVER END, MODS!! 😞 -

And now we have a striker who is scoring goals, midfielders chipping in with goals too. Just need to get Tronstadt back and we will be firing on all cylinders again. COYB!! -

The penalty should in fact have been an indirect free kick, for dangerous play. But I'm not complaining. Just pointing out the Laws of the Game 😉 -

That will do! Rovers more than deserved that victory, and only conceded after the steel was taken off.. -

Gueye is on fire this evening. Hedges and Buckley need a fire lighting up their arses. -

These are there for the taking. They have offered very little, created nothing for Pears to deal with, AND Rovers look committed and up for this as a team. Having said that, we have some glaring holes in the approach, with Hedges doing nothing, Dolan very little and Buckley ineffective. Let's see what the second half brings. Travis has bossed it so far. -

Should be 2 - Hedges skied that when it was easier to hit the target -

FFS the Rovers match day live commentary is a PNE bloke, supported by an ex PNE player. What the ACTUAL FUCK are Rovers doing? Where are the Rovers Commentators for a ROVERS HOME GAME??? For clarification, I am in Germany this evening, so unable to watch from the Riverside as would be my preference... -

Definitely Guinness. GIn and Tonic at a push. Champagne, moi? Non! Cheers! I'll pop a tinnie as soon as there's any actual transfer business done - not news, not rumour, not 'he's in the building', not 'Rovers hope to..' Nope. Sauce only applies when business has been transacted. Source - the Old Codger. -

Harry, the goalie at Mill Hill St. Peters many years ago had a similar pattern for organising his defence at free kicks, to Rovers approach to lining up new players in needed positions. It used to go something along the lines of, "Left, left, LEFT! LEFT!... LEFT! LEFT!....Oh fucking hell!" He never seemed to learn.. A good shot-stopper on his day, and talked a good game, but there was always a lot of muttering and downcast looks when there was a free kick situation near the box.. Life is full of funny little fractals like that, dontcha think? -

We are without doubt, the cast off / no longer bothered with alien ant farm purchased as a toy by inbred spoilt idiots on a whim because they thought it might make them popular with the normal kids on the block. Now gathering dust, waiting to be Freecycled.
