Eustace…he gone…*official*
Old Codger replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Fuck me but some people are just plain thick. This was never about John sodding Eustace! It was always about the lying, conniving, scheming, dishonest, untrustworthy and despicable morons that a) own the club and b) take the coin to run it as cheaply as possible. JE just happened to be the latest in a growing list of patsies who was incumbent when their latest hairbrained scheme to avoid promotion at all costs (literally it seems) came home to roost. Ask yourself two simple questions: 1) What do Steve Waggott and Suhail Pasha know about running a successful and upwardly mobile football club? 2) What do Steve Waggot and Suhail Pasha care about, based on the actual evidence we have all now seen at least three times? It is a shame that JE has gone, because he was doing a great job with the extremely limited resources that the two snidey chuckle brothers made available. But until we stop dicking around with a Mickey Mouse Management structure, and allow Mr Hide in the Shadows who knows feck all about football to run the show, any coach / manager / DoF is on a hiding to nothing here. So wake up, thickets - smell the shit in the coffee. It isn't coffee, by the way, it is just shit. -

All we know, Chaddy, is that Rovers DIDN'T sign any of those players. The lying scheming conniving scunner Pasha told someone to their face that one of those players was having a medical at the club. That turned out true, didn't it, not. -

Erm... the management don't want promotion. Not sure how you don't get this, now that we are on at least the third rinse and repeat of the cycle. Waggot, Suhail Pasha and their cronies DON'T WANT PROMOTION. Full stop. Got it now? For the record, I don't want promotion either - it isn't like the goons would actually spend any of the windfall on trying to be competitive at that level, is it? The only potential upside is that the coffers would be somewhere approaching full enough for the bastards who have stolen our club and our dreams, to feck the fuck off and sell. -

The injuries haven't helped, tbf, but of course there is a direct comparison between the drop off in form this year under JE and a similar pattern under JDT. No doubt the matters have taken some weeks to come to a head, and the likelihood is that the bad blood started well in advance of the inevitable parting of the ways. It just seems so mindnumbingly obvious though that actually supporting the manager for once might actually produce a different outcome, and a positive one at that. Unbelievable that lightening should strike twice. Hurt me once, poor me. Hurt me twice, shame on you. Hurt me three times? AND I WILL RIP OFF YOUR HEAD AND SHIT DOWN YOUR NECK! -

Honesty, transparency, self-awareness and responsibility to self. Nice to see those values back on our board again, although unfortunately it is this message board, and not the one that counts in the decisions taken in relation to OUR club. -
Robbie Savage was mentioned (in passing) on the emergency podcast... Can't imagine him being able to keep his gob shut though, can you?

Let's go with the Belgium model (the country ran successfully without a government between 2010 and 2011) and see what happens when the grenade is just allowed to go off, and we keep going until the last man is standing. I mean, who in their right mind is going to come in for a gig as toxic and fecked up as the Blackburn Rovers head coach appointment, other than either a complete buffoon or an unemployed yes man? Waggott and his local funnel boss need to be asked one simple question - WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? Fook em. There are better ways to get column inches than this ridiculous circus.

So, wheels have come off on the 'togetherness and leadership' fronts and we go into a really difficult fixture with more uncerainty than a rabbit that's burrowed up underneath a black bear's bum. We are still an injury plagued rabble, lacking steel and consistency where it matters. We will be expected to capitulate like a bunch of wet wipes due to the proven tactical nous of the gurning chump and his new talisman, Mr Selfish himselfish. On present trajectory you'd expect us to get our arses handed to us, which is probably a good reason to look for something surprising from our ragbag makeshift nohoper sad-sack rudderless rabble. Not holding my breath. Baggies 4 Baggereds 0 Albion 2 I'll be damned 2 WBA 0 Rovers Run Riot 5 Feck it. Let's just go for it. COYB! -

And Forshaw & Woordow looked every inch like dead wood. Kargobo looks like he wants to make an impact, and worked his socks off. Dennis, meh - didn't contribute much IMO. -

No, but the stink around the club would draw atttenion to the deliberate tactic of holding our heads down the bog, which is something that will just continue ad nauseam until something changes. It isn't time to be going all soft and namby pamby and letting these fuckers off the hook, you know. It is time for something completely different. -

If he goes, I want the players to down tools in protest, for us to plummet spectacularly off the scales in terms of goals against, and everyone in football to look at our club as being the finest example of what happens if you let inbred maggoty half-wits take control of your business. I'd be happy to register regular record breaking scores against us, so that the shadow-hugging faceless morons would be forced into the light, to answer the questions that their destruction of our club so obviously require to be asked. Eustace Out means Lights Out means VENKYS OUT!!! -

Exactly - at least at other clubs there will be no hidden agenda, and the actual purpose of the club won't be shrouded in mystery whilst being hamstrung by invisible rules like the manager has to operate under at Blackburn Rovers since the DESPICABLE PEOPLE took over. -

And there are plenty of empirically researched and factually underpinned theories confirming that when any organism loses hope, it eventually just withers and dies. That is what is so despicable about the Raos, badly advised, bearing a childish grudge or whatever... They absolutely know the damage that they have inflicted upon this club, its supporters, the town, those who have ever contributed to the possibility of success that comes from being in football - and yet they refuse to do the honourable thing and let someone who actually might care take over the reins. The Raos are responsible for creating a hopeless situation that chews through managers, players, employees and fans expectations as if they are irrelevant - when in reality it it those expectations which are the lifeblood, the essence of a football club. They are just spoiled, entitlled brats - children in the most fundamental ways, and we are treated as if we are some meaningless toy that fell into their lap in 2011 only to be shoved to the back of the cupboard and gather dust since they realised they didn't like this game. Despicable people, surrounded by sycophants and leaches, incapable of anything honourable, and insulated from reality by their polluting, obscene, corrupt and enslaving chicken killing machine. I once said (on Granada Reports outside the ground) that I was 'quietly optimistic' about the prospect of these Indian milllionaires taking on the club. In hindsight perhaps we had grounds for quiet optimism at the time, but that has long gone, to be replaced by an entrenched feeling of dread and learned helplessness about the future of OUR club. The wheels are coming off, but this lot will keep driving until the rusting hulk is rotting in a football graveyard. DESPICABLE PEOPLE. -

I wonder, what would we all do, if the club really did just disappear one day in administration? It's a bit like thinking of the last days of the Romans in Britain - lots of infrastructure, a glorious past, reminders of what once had been all around, but in reality everything out of step with the here and now. Blackburnus Romanus Fama Defuncta.. I remember them.. -

Hmm.... The issue is though, he's brought some self-respect and sense of identity back to the team, and somehow managed to knit together a disparate rag bag of players into a reasonably cohesive unit. Not many other managers we've endured recently have been anywhere near that, and most have had a much better deal in terms of money being spent. If he does go, I think he will be a success wherever he goes, Derby or anyhwere else, as he clealry has the management and leadership skills and capabilties needed to make a real difference - and that will be really difficult to replace. -

Stop it! You'll be banging on about Andy Pandy next, then Spotty Dog, and the Woodentops. All of whom would waltz into our first team, as things stand.. -

Derby know it is £750k to lever JE away from Ewood. Waggott will see it as another nice little coup for his Lords & masters. Everyone else will know it is yet another shuffle up the gallows staircase for our once proud club. -

Laboured, lacklustre, leggy, lightweight, leaderless, lost little lads, lacking leverage in losing like languishing laguards. BbC showed Waggott several times, looking like some deranged bog eyed escapee from Old Gates. The manner of the loss wasn't the issue. It was the inevitability of it. Ah well, let's see if JE can steer us to a decent finish. 15 cup finals here we come. -

Betting suspended on Eustace for Derby County according to my news feed. Make of it what you will, but if he goes, I think there would be decent odds on the Rams finishing higher than Rovers this campaign.. Back to today.. it is a scratch team, but JE did say he would be throwing in the new boys for this game, and so it appears from the team sheet. If we suffer an embarrassing reverse, Ruby should be hung by the knackers from the statue of Uncle Jack. If we somehow win, then perhaps he could be given the reins, if JE decides to head to the midlands. COYB! -

For anyone actually going to the game, just a reminder that Livesey Branch Road is CLOSED at Green Lane, due to a gas main leak which is still under investigation and repair. It will be chaotic due to being the approach to the ground for many of the 4500 Wolves fans making the trip from the MIdlands. There is a diversion in place, but it won't cope well will the extra traffic. Be warned! Be early! And B R F C S forget the gloom and doom sayers, it's a game and we want to win! COYB!
