  1. That is very dark. Care to shed some light on your statement?
  2. There's nothing to suggest much interest in this game locally, and certainly nothing on offer to incentivise local participation in the event. It will, without a doubt, be more like a home game for Wolves, than for the Rovers. It speaks volumes of the desperate and disheartening times we are now forced to endure to compare the relative fortunes of today's sides with those from 20 odd years ago, when Wolves made it to the Premier League. We had quality right through the ranks then, and it just goes to show how far we have fallen to think how many of the players in the game above are way better than those we look to for inspiration these days. So, not being funny, but I don't see any prospect of anything other than a defeat tomorrow. Rovers fed to the Wolves: BRFC 1 WWFC 4 Lambs to the slaughter: Bo Peep FC 0 BBW 5 Wolverine meets scratch Team: Rovers 1 Wolverines 3 Not really bothered either way. But wft, COYB!
  3. Forshaw and Rankin Costelloe coming on?? WHAT??
  4. How many Rovers fans have travelled this evening?
  5. Not a lot in this game. Could go either way, so let's see who has got the nerve, the nous and the need. COYB!!
  6. Dolan and Wiemman, off , Cozier Dubery and Cantwell on.
  7. Confident strike there from the lad. Get in!
  8. A traffic cone would be an improvement
  9. So much for keeping it tight at the back. Ah well, shit happens! 😞
  10. Aye, but Hedges kept running it into one of theirs, losing control, putting the ball out - lots of huff and puff, but no real impact or threat. You need your wide men to create things, for themselves and for the strikers - I didn't feel like Hedges did anything to worry the PNE back line all evening. Watch him get the nod and score a wonder-goal and get an assist for two others this evening (in my wildest dreams) Anyway, COYB!!
  11. I wonder how the squad feels about the additions that have come on board, and perhaps more importantly, how Mr Eustace is disposed towards his new resources? It would be great if he is feeling relaxed and ready to work them into his plans. Tonight I think we need to go back to basics and make ourselves hard to break down. Concentrate on defending properly and hope to nick a goal or two through our ability to move the ball around quickly in counter attacks. The Cantwell / Travis axis will be key to that, and if the Big Mak continues his recent form, there is always the chance of a chance, if you see what I mean. Take it up the R's - QPR 0 - Rovers 1 Rodney Marsh's Revenge - Hoops 2 Rovers 0 Rovers Run Riot- Rangers 0 Rovers 3 Most likely score line is a narrow victory for either side. JE has us working as a team, but although the wheels haven't completely fallen off recently, you feel like there is always that potential, especially when we are so hamstrung through injuries (pardon the pun). COYB!!
  12. Armstrong will tear the Championship a new one. Meanwhile, our search for a striker to add some steel and pace up front...
  13. Squeaky bum time. Complete shit show and once again a demonstration of how NOT to conductt transfer business. Tick fecking Tock... 50 minutes to get something done... Not crossing anything here... Facking amateurs! 😞
  14. Looks like a cross between Jimmy Quinn and Chris Wood. More likely to be a cross between Jimmy Saville and a Woodentop. Oh deary deary me.
  15. Player travelled to Blackburn, West Lothian, and ended up missing the last bus South
  16. Remind me again, which clogging bastards took him out? He was clearly targeted and should have brought charges 😞
  17. We should be Dann sing. Definitely. More likely we'll be wallflowers and unkissed in our walk of shame away from the play-offs. If, by some miracle we made it to the cut-off for a chance of a Premier League return, what's the betting that it would be our six-fingered cuzzins from down the road that would be the major obstacle? Put yer money on it! 😉
  18. I'd prefer someone to charge in like a bull in a china shop to be fair - we are pedestrian enough across the middle and front as it is. There's only on Jack Walker. The other Walkers were problematic and sold us down the river to the Punatics,
  19. Good result for Plymouth and Rovers that 😉
  20. No. The Law (12, Fouls and Misconduct) would only apply if the player had been judged by the referee to have deliberately endangered the safety of another player. In this case, their player (Watmough) did endanger Hyam, but he had his back tto him when he jumped, and also jumped into his own player first. It was dangerous play, but IMO not deliberate - most referees would not have the cojones to give an indirect free kick inside the penalty area. At the other end, I agree we were somewhat fortunate not to be penalised for Gueye's challenge for the ball with Potts (or whoever) and the suspicion of handball - but again the mitigating factor was that Potts (or whoever) was behind him and to me appeared to shove Gueye too, so a 50-50 ball. In some games the ref might have taken a different view, but I personally think he called that one right. So for me, the Nobbers might feel let down by the ref for our penalty, but they had no claim of their own. And in any case, what an injustice that would have been after having brought so little to the game and deserving nothing. Besides, I completely despise their skank manager, who is more weasly than Ron, and more rattty than Roland - a despicable charactter whose sides play sunday league football at best. We won. They lost. Let's move on.
  21. No, it was dangerous play. Which is an indirect free kick.
  22. The site is totally up the swanny this evening - tiny font, missing functionality, no way to pick up notifications, random pages missing, constantly resetting itself and going back to the start - SOUNDS LIKE A VIRUS AT THE SERVER END, MODS!! 😞
