  1. We played well yesterday, surprisingly, it was a great win although Millwall were dreadful, they couldn't string more than 3/4 passes together and their defence were extremely shaky... A team like Cov would have scored 8. I saw a post from someone stating that we'd win given we always seem to perform the game following extreme adversity... Which as we now know, spot on haha.
  2. I think thats pretty much the case in honesty, that being said... Given 2 home matches have been called off due to sheer ground maintenance incompetence/under funding... I wonder if there is potential to claim our money back as we've been mis-sold??? 🀣
  3. I am a die hard (like us all) had a season ticket since I was a young lad, both my sons also have season tickets and the idea of stepping foot in Ewood at the moment gives me great anxiety. I can't believe the state of the club, the 15 year decline and I also can't stand how some fans are still insisting on having a glass half full mentality towards the circus that was once our world renowned and respected club. We are a complete and utter shadow of what we used to be, there isnt even a single grain remaining of what we used to be (other than a cob web ridden trophy cabinet and a stadium that is no longer fit for standard), we are simply a laughing stock in comparison. Once a very proud town club that achieved the unthinkable, been done by barely any teams since (outside of the normally expected "big clubs"). How any fan can sit and be happy about the current state of affairs is beyond my understanding, to even give Venkys a shred of appreciation is even further... The only thing that will promote a positive fanbase reaction is for the owners to sell up and the full board being replaced, anyone that thinks otherwise is a complete and utter fool. Have the owners provided money? ... Yes, have they done it simply to keep the lights on? You can't argue... Is that good enough? No... There is no ambition even from a simple marketing campaign, nevermind with the club. I am sick to the stomach of seeing idiots who believe they have a MSc in Business arguing the toss about the potential in BRFC like they themselves know how to handle such a big business. Fact of the matter is, we are still a club with potential... A decent buyer would snap the hands off to buy our club providing they had the money to burn to rectify all of Venkys mistakes, they would instantly become the messiahs of Ewood if they had even a minor shred of capability/credibility. Some of the fanbase needs to get their heads out of the sand.
  4. We are dreadful and we will finish this season relegated if performances like that continue, which they've been pretty consistent so far. All well and good saying we played well for 20 minutes but that doesn't win you games, at a new low with Rovers now and haven't felt this bad about us since the SK days. Dying club, dying fanbase.
  5. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ I missed all of this, but you well and truly shut this overreaching clown down! πŸ‘πŸ€£
  6. Is there a full exchange someone can post for review? I have only seen the "spice" comment (I deleted myself on X years ago).
  7. No disrespect intended to those who are truly in the know, but why not just post it? Why not get it out to the papers? It has gone on for too long this shit now, far too long and by keeping it quiet (somewhat) is just benefitting this shoddy hierarchy. I say fuck the lot of them, if the fan groups lose traction with connection then that opens up another story that can be made public? We know staff have left supposedly due to treatment, why not get it out in the public? Why not look at employment tribunal? This kind of shit needs way more traction rather than people making fake insider/privy X accounts. Rudy Gestede is a worm as is Suhail, the Venkys? Something else completely. They'd happily see the club burn to the ground before leaving due to their idiotic arrogance, I have worked for some absolute eejits in my time but I have never witnessed crap like this. For Rudy and Suhail to be walking around the crowd outside the ground (last home game?) like they're gods gift is truly deluded, Rudy you were a shit person/footballer during your playing time and you're still a shit person/EX footballer now lining the pockets of your agent buddies. Imagine removing the absolute spine of your team (that has got you to 7th place twice) and replaced with cheap unproven players with virtually no experience!!! It makes no sense! Cost cutting? No simply unintelligent behaviour. Finally, the last part of my absolute rant... Each and every single person whether they are on here, X, Facebook or there on match days spouting the "they've put X amount into the club", "give them a chance" etc etc, give your heads a fucking wobble you absolute moronic fools. I've said it for years and I'll say it again, the reason our fanbase is so split is simply down to intelligence and the BwD demographic not being able to see/understand past the end of their nose OR are small business owners themselves and think they know everything about anything. DELUDED.
  8. We signed Gudjohnson from KAA Gent, not KRC Genk
  9. Β£4.50 for a Cruzcampo if you get to the ground early ... Not sure what difference it makes going earlier or ordering 30 mins before kick off or at half time other than to extort the already beer thirsty fans from the few pints they've had prior to the match ... Madness
  10. Normally try to stay professional on the forum but Brittain to Derby is a fucking joke, set of cunts...
  11. Had Broughton been working for a competent board, he probably would have done well. Gestede was never ready for his role, not in the Championship anyway; utter novice and it is embarrassing but another case of saving the pennies from Suhail & Co... They still haven't replaced Maggot in public capacity, the whole situation surrounding us is of a novice nature! It's like they're playing a game of Football Manager.
  12. Jesus lads/lasses ... Again, tongue in cheek comment making humour against the comments of wanting 90% of the transfer deals done prior to the start of preseason ... Yes, it is likely a lot lower but I was referring to those we knew of, my comments detail nothing other than highlighting our negligence in the apparent player trade model they once claimed to operate! 🀣 My point is ... We've signed 3 and had a few solid leads adding Kapaudi and Baradji as an example and no where near that 90% conversion rate and so is likely going to piss Ismaël off. Some of you lot would argue with a wall!! 🀣
  13. It was a tongue in cheek comment making fun of wanting 90% of transfer work complete prior to preseason πŸ˜‰ Adding Mannsverk as reminded by @davulsukur, now 3 out of 12 ... 25% haha
  14. Dropping the percentage by another 3%, we're now at just 30% signed; that's only among those strongly linked. Ten linked, three signed... shocking stats, though not surprising. Rovers making 9 signings before pre-season? That’d be like winning the EuroMillions but then finding out it was only for matching four numbers considering the expected quality of those signings. 🀣 Ah, missed off Gassama too ... Drop it to 27%
  15. So, out of players we have signed/been strongly linked to over the course of the window so far (not sure if I have missed any): - Steve Kapaudi - No deal Marwan Al-Sahafi - No deal Ryan Alebiosu - Deal Sidnei Tavares - Deal Dion De Neve - Deal Moussa Baradji - No deal Ethan Pye - No deal Cody Drameh - No deal Sean McLoughlin (I am regurgitating an old name here, I can't remember the name of who it was but sure it was another Hull player) - No deal Prior to pre season starting, we'd reached 33% so already failed that expectation to Val 🀣
