After the game I queued up for half an hour for some overpriced piss poor lager they ran out of before I got there. one poor lass on her own. pathetic. shambles of a club. I only stayed to remind myself of the good times. amazed at how many stayed. but for the same reason I guess. It's like invasion of the body snatchers. Jack Walker's legacy highjacked by these chancers. Sick making. I didn't boo Ben, Baath, Wiemann or Eustace. Why would you? They are the symptoms, the canary in the mine. And they handled it quite classily I thought. I've probably said it before, but yes, Billy Bancroft, David Brown, Bill Fox; they weren't billionaires but they were Blackburn men like Jack. The club was at least honest if not flush. I preferred those days to this lot. I'm glad I'm 60 and been lucky to see what I have. I'll keep going to watch. On autopilot.
